It was a Monday, I took the day off to recover. I didn’t really need to but decided to let the world turn and the humans race. I was wondering what would happen if I opted out of participating.

Oh sure I have things to do but I am PRETENDING to be Manny Murchado and be a little lazy. Check that. At the MOMENT a LOT lazy.

The Red Sox wrapped things up last night and it only took an extra game the extra inning debacle to prevent a sweep. One GOOD day to celebrate, think ‘Red’ and then let life go on and back to ordinary time.

Today looks like a cc of yesterday. I was able to get a terrific 2 hour ride in under sunny skies, 27 and little wind. Brisk pace, 49.4 k (over 15 mph clip) so time is not slipping but improving. Not bad since this is ‘off season’ and not serious ‘training’. Today a short sprint ride if there is time.

This days plan is calling for a longer session on the range hitting balls. Short game PLUS a large bucket.

Plans for the studio, work on show displays and literature.

About the only thing NOT on the agenda is baseball and laundry.

Clouds & rain return mid-week which may be just in time to keep the dust & the little bandit trick-or-treaters down.

The sun is now up and shining brilliantly here. It almost seems to be calling me saying something like …

‘Wrap things up and get to work already.’

I even hear a bird nearby outside singly merrily.
