I THOUGHT I was done for the month but a brief scan of the headlines turned up a nice story to share.
This link will take you to a story why and how hockey players are different. Somehow and I am 100% certain EVERYONE has an opinion why whomever plays the game and it doesn’t matter the level has a thread of compassion and is fearless with moments and times such as this. It is just the right thing.
Hockey players (usually) stand thru two/BOTH National anthems and I believe if one ‘took a knee’ the players would police the issues and address it promptly and properly.
Last week the local football team had its emergency back-up QB injured by a cheap & dirty hit to the head and no one, NO ONE(!) took up for him. Say whatever you want.
Football will NEVER be hockey.
