Friday peeps, the weekend IS UNDERWAY and things are popping like corn at a movie theater.

I awoke early and so fired up that I decided to exit the rack from the left side this day as opposed to the right side and not at all to be confused with the WRONG side of the bed.

SO WHAT IS THE ROOT CAUSE THIS TIME?

I’m glad you’re here. IF you ever entered a beauty pageant, you without question would be voted Ms Segway. Thanks for asking.

The reasons being anticipation and excitement with the weekend unfolding, a Friday with no scheduled ‘trip out’ and many PA to work on AND most are in what I call ‘fun’ stages. Gross painting of fish, rough carving of signs and the first initial phase(s) of two (dos,2) Watching the Shore paintings one large and a small one.

It’s time for the Masters and usually Thursday and Friday are my favorite days to watch. But this year just not feeling it. The hype overshadows the golf and the players so maybe Sunday my feeling will shift.

Like today I just now did a walk about the back deck jardin and I see so many things that can enhance and improve food production. Moving and rearranging large containers, positioning same to get water thru the summer … ALL KINDS of cool things.

The tax ‘burden’ or ‘obligation’ was completed and is out to the accounting staff via email. A follow up phone call shortly will confirm the ‘all is well.’ I know they will apply for and be granted the extension so no sweat.

Commodore Hornblower. Great stuff. CS Forrester is an outstanding writer. The story a fast paced yarn with non-stop action. In this one of the series Napolean is the villain and the ships, signal flags and character development are all superb and colorful.

I had a couple of links to articles I had planned on posting up but when I went back snoozing caused both to be lost and I let that idea go.

I have been having some fun on the substack. I set a personal record this week with 22 ‘likes’. While not exactly an avalanche or tsunami, it IS growing the readership and on the wix site I recall seeing the 985 mark recently passed so everything is on track and on schedule with the new testament transition.

I still like the wix but the substack platform and its disadvantages are more annoying and it is giving off hints, vibes and indications of it being a social media vehicle. It’s like if there were ‘written rules’ it would be hard enough to learn those and keep up and current but then with the ‘unwritten rules’ are too far gone for me to even attempt to invest the time.

So I am going to continue and hold off deciding on one which has been the Plan all along until we reach the magic 1000 mark on wix.

I got to go. My interest and desire has dropped off the precipice and I can only see myself free-falling into the artist mode very near-term.

Or the farmer mode to play in the dirt and do the gardening thing.

MAYBE I’ll mow the lawn …
