Monday 21 June 21

Interesting day date but it is a key point in the rhythmic cycles of the cosmos. Birthday, proximity to solstice and even biorhythms all align and from study expect SOMETHING. Think wave theory, frequency and interference as applies to amplitude of the wave form.

This said, the ‘expected something’ has manifested in a slight, emphasis on slight, depression.

At 8:00 the house, while still cool from the overnight running of the AC, is warming and the ‘comfort’ needle has moved slightly.

One major cause in addition to the warmth is the return to quiet solitude of the castle. Visitors departed and no early morning greetings of ... well, you know. Like little birds in a nest wanting something to eat.

I do miss them but returning now to the work and taskings at hand.

Congrats to my buddy Jon Rahm for winning the US Open yesterday.

On an off-chance I logged on yesterday only to check the leader board and see who was leading and saw featured group streaming Rahm & Matt Wolff so I watched the entire round. Very happy for him and I hope he wins many more. His demeanor during a ruling with a rules official should have dispelled ALL those in the media that found fault and set that record straight. Just goes to prove that Homo vomitus can be found about anywhere.

Elsewhere, I finished the latest read and can report most enjoyable and informative. The Battle for the Bay and Galveston during the Civil War. I recognized landmarks already from the two brief visits. Very cool.

YOU HAVE BEEN ON A CIVIL WAR KICK HERE OF LATE. CARE TO EXPLAIN POR FAVOR?

Certainly however not in depth for an explanation but more coincidence. I don’t think I mentioned I stopped the effort for the docent work at the museum in Fort Worth. The distance was too great plus with the show coming up in October over-booking time made for an easy decision. I called and informed them of my decision and it wasn’t a good fit at the moment. I did keep the door open however for future engagement.

I am thinking the next read WAS going to be Surveillance Capitalism however I read a few reviews and decided against the specific book, similar title by one Shoshana Zuboff. Well credentialed alright but when I popped her into the Wikipedia what spilled out reminded me of a former gf. This particular gf did not get dressed to go to work.

WHAT? SHE WAS A NUDIST? OR A STRIPPER ?

Great guesses but no.

What I meant was she didn’t get dressed like a normal person rather putting on or assembling a COSTUME was a better description.

I mean you can’t look at the picture of this lady and not register ‘flake’ and not chaired Harvard professor.

OK Fans. The second episode of the Lone Ranger is winding down and this day will continue to closing.

An easy 40K ride and then some time on the first commission which is getting very, very close. This is exciting. There is then the SECOND commission which is a sign AND THEN the inventory build AND logistics for ARToberFEST in Galveston should keep me occupied this day.

Intermittent dips into the cement pond should provide heat relief.

Emma checked in with both birthday and Father’s day well wishes.

I bought myself a Father’s day card because I liked the card.
