I see the date today and don’t know why but I am thinking about proclaiming today National Spooning day. MAYBE even International Spooning day.

OK . Outstanding First Friday Mass and so glad I made the time to work the read into this day.

I usually don't quote or even refer to The Scriptures of The Bible however in this stage I am finding such exceptions noteworthy, remarkable and worth mentioning by sharing for they are good.

Then the gospel from Luke 5:33-39

The very last line of which Jesus says 'I find the old wine better.' He KNOWS His wine.

Nuggets and pearls from the Bible that provide a small element of peace for the soul. So important that we can get a break or a brief escape from the problems and troubles of our everyday lives.

AS I said I look at today’s date designation and think spoons. Back when I was fashionably and ferociously ‘dating’, spooning was rad. Like cuddling and all cozy. But not anymore.

I saw something some Hollywood celeb has a ‘porn addition’. Give me a whiskey, tango foxtrot. Is this as legit as a ‘sex addiction’?

Does anyone else long for the good old days when ‘addiction’ was just and simply heroin?
