18 August 18

Alternate title 18 Ate 18 a close second as well as some very strong ‘also rans’. Tough day, tough timing once again as it is a Saturday morning semi-early with a large day ahead.

PRAY TELL.

OK. Very well you axed for it.

I made supper last night and …

WHAT DID YOU MAKE ?

Listen, I’ll NEVER finish up here so stop axing the stupid questions. Por favor.

A couple frozen shrimp (thawed. They thaw very quickly in water. FREE HINT from Bill). Fried melody of available vegetables over tagliatelle. No. Correct that. Stir fried WITH the tagliatelle.

WHAT’S TAGLIATELLE ?

Look it up. That’s the only way people like YOU learn so as to REMEMBER.

Anyway, where was I?

It was good and I even have some left over. I think nuked with some ketchup will suffice for todays version.

Got the ride in yesterday AND one, only one, ONE (1) left. That would be 130k (80m) on Monday then done except resting & recovering for the 2018 HH100 next Saturday. The team is getting pumped up. FB has the lodging square, meal planned for Friday night and about the only thing not certain is status of two smallest riders, the nextgens GD1 & GS1. Tough spot as one is too big for the child seat behind Mom and the other too small and unable to accept that type of confinement for ANY length of time.

Floating option is a trailer but who & how it gets pulled becomes the next obstacle. Mom can’t or won’t and Dad’s bike requires a mounting bracket of some sort to hook up. As I see it, it is THEIR call. Both little ones might have to camp an nana’s this year I am thinking.

Later this morning, AFTER I get the lawn mowed, I have a student coming over. Actually S1 wants to do a painting so I can show him some basics. He has a picture and easy enough to take him thru those steps.

An event opportunity presented itself since last time. I will be volunteering over in FW again in early October for the 2018 Nike NCAA Golf Invitational at Colonial CC. Eight teams, two days and told it should be fun. They axed what team you want to be with and I said Washington or Stanford.

WS get it?

Can’t lose. Stanford is the first choice. I wear that Stanford hoodie around town and people cower and back out of your way. I like that. People intimidated by an article of clothing. Simpletons.

Here’s a link confirming, validating and verifying SOME of what I have been preaching about ‘social media.’

Without question the ENTIRE PLANET has been duped. Checked the Comments & reviews after the article. They usually are the best part.

At one time the government made EVERY ATTEMPT to gather just this type of information from common folk and now people are giving it up and away. For free, for NOTHING and no one realizes or cares. Except me and a few others of course.

I had a guy a couple of weeks ago and this is TRUE, tell me eyeball to eyeball that he ‘admired’ that little creep zuckerberg. SERIOUSLY !!

SO WHAT DID YOU DO?

GREAT question this time.

Rather than unload both barrels on him and bursting the bubble on one of his ‘heroes’ , I simply remained fairly reserved saying this other party needed to read ANYTHING by Andrew Keen stopping short of saying getting a ‘second’ or another opinion.

Had I ‘lost it’, I could have expounded and exploded on his totally erroneous impression of little zuck giving ‘millions’ to charity and ‘good causes.’

Do some homework pal. Get ‘informed.’

The little weasel is avoiding paying taxes and besides giving away millions is small change when you are raking in BILLIONS. Crooks like this should pay a flat 7% tax. Google pays something like 0.0035% in Federal taxes. And SELLING your PRIVATE INFORMATION.

AND YOU SAY it’s not ‘private’ … BUT HE’S SELLING IT and another question … rhetorical .. to WHOM AND for WHAT reasons ?

I must wind down now to wrap up this mess.

I almost can’t wait to get back to ‘normal’ and doing art projects. I need to figure out show schedules in Houston and the local ones as well. One deadline is Monday for a running exhibit in Frisco from September to March.

I got one painting loaded in the online 'tool' but a couple others are too small and do not meet the ‘pixel’ requirements so I have some work to do before Monday to get that issue sorted out. Registration is all on line which is convenient up to a point then like this, it gets complicated & ugly, stressful and tense, quickly.

This is Bill signing off. The next entry MIGHT just be from HH100 and Wichita Falls.
