Monday 24 S 18

Spinning wheels, failure to launch and stuck in Procrastination thinking, hoping perhaps praying this exercise will break loose the mental log jam and allow for some sort of productive activity this day.

WHAT HAPPENED ?

Nothing I can discern Mrs Stewart. I had a very low-key Sunday, worked well on a number of projects, listened to some baseball and very little football on the radio. The Red Sox, respectively and Jonesy’s cowboys when I saw they were playing Seattle and getting their butts kicked. Disrespectfully.

Jonesy has to figure out how the cowboys can play the Giants 8-10 times this season so they might make the playoffs. If anyone can pull off such a crime, it is Jerry J.

In the background I played semi-watched Warehouse 13.

A RECOMMEND ?

Not if you’re a regular on this vehicle.

EXPLAIN POR FAVOR …

Certainly.

Think X-files meets National Treasure. So short answer is no. Not really. Kind of juvenile but the mix of violence and story lines approach a kerosene flavored jelly bean.

OH. YOU MEAN UNPALATABLE ?

EXACTLY! More or Less.

What I am finding much more entertaining is the audiobook 14th Colony. Political intrigue, very recent historical fiction so very easy to relate to and has a plot with Russians and going back to the American Revolution, the War of 1812 and some political events and machinations from that period. It is one of those rare things here one actually LEARNS some.

INTRIGUING. GO ON POR FAVOR …

Well, after hearing ‘The Society of Cincinnati’ a number of times my curiosity was ignited. I looked it up and sure enough, previously unbeknownst to your writer, there IS such a thing. So I read up on that and thru the magic of hyperlinks went down a number of associated worm-holes, related tangents and detours until the whisky tango foxtrot alert went off and I closed all windows and apps on the smart phone as things had gotten out of hand.

One must ALWAYS know where and when to draw that line.

So I slept in this morning and as great as that felt, I am thinking it was a mistake.

I checked yesterday and this rain, gloom and overcast will CONTINUE for the NEXT WEEK to 10 days. So I am thinking this lack of sunshine now MAY BE a factor and contributing to this acute melancholia.

The anticipated social function (party) Saturday night was cancelled or postponed. I am assuming due to weather. I think at the time there was a break in the showers but I was not about to venture out after dark under such conditions. No telling what sort of despicable creature might be floating up and around lurking for a fresh white appetizer.

OK. I see I am approaching the 500-word plateau and ready need to refill the cup with coffee and attempt some artistic endeavor.

Flip in the next disk of 14th Colony and proceed.

Or carry on.

Or is it carrion?
