XXII S MMXIX
A wicked lazy Sunday morning as the sun rises lazily and the air warms slowly. The water in the cement pond is chilling and won’t warm at all. Yesterdays dip after the bike ride was an awakening that the Last Dip for 2019 is coming up quickly.
Don’t get your hopes up for a lengthy entry this day.
I had a nice full day yesterday thanks for asking.
I started a new off-season training regimen. I am going to go for two (2) hours and track and measure my time for exactly that time frame in KM. Initial ride yesterday was kind of a set back and truly set myself up to fail.
EXPLAIN POR FAVOR.
Of course.
I lifted off late morning and hit the Saturday ‘rush hour’ of soccer Mom’s running around children
hither and yon. Some were clearly either late or in some kind of hurry and I feel fortunate I didn’t end up as a hood decoration.
The first half-hour I was thinking my saddle muscles felt pwitty good but at the one (1) mark the Bern was back. Not painful just a mild pain in the region. Thought I was going to say ‘a**’. Haha
Blocks from the cloud I noticed three (3) nice bar stools out on the curb. Really nice and so out of place. So I got home, cleared room and me and Silver circled back to 5602 Briar Ridge.
A younger lady cracked the door as a yapping dog did their thing and she said I could take them and of course I will give them a good home. They look very easy to reupholster so now I just need a place to put them. Perhaps the billiard room with a higher café table.
I went to Watter’s Creek and used the range. The next event is 10/4 scramble put on by Saint Gabriel’s so need to be somewhat sharp to avoid embarrassment. The 11/12 is Colonial volunteers outing so things are starting to stack up here as the year begins to wind down.
That’s it.
I am thinking a couple of days off might be a good investment at this time. Rest up, gather and generate material and get some much needed work done. I finished a couple of cork boards yesterday. Two (2) 12x and one 4x. I want to get with Leon this week and talk about cutting the corners for the frames. My cuts are not measuring up to his and it is time to sub-out that operation.
Sorry for the lacklusterousness. It will pass.
Maybe after breakfast, coffee and a dip.
A dip will jump start the engine.
