I missed yet another outstanding opportunity yesterday with the pleasing numerical date combo of 6-22-22 but HEY, I WAS BUSY !!
The post-birthday, Father’s day and juneteenth hangover is gradually subsiding and peeking ahead July (Julio, Jl or Jy) is just over the horizon and outside of the seven (7) day window.
Just home from a 40k training ride. It was supposed to be ‘easy’ but there was cool shade from the trees along the streets, lighter than expected traffic and no wind. In other words conditions were ‘swift’. There was one (1) each safety stop and safety slow (near-stop) at the same intersection on consecutive laps but the lost time was recouped promptly in both instances.
A weight check after the ride was also a record low 162.2 lbs. This is obviously a contributing factor in lowering ride times. Not as much of Bill to move around. Now I’m looking at 160 for a new target.
One must always be ready and willing to stretch ones goals. I learned this twice (2x) in life. Formally in the corporate world but first from my Dad and his buddies who were MERCILESS at times always raising the bar.
I know now that this is the ONLY WAY to raise boys to be successful and achievers. Keep them climbing, get pissed but SHOW THEM what you’re made up AND PROVE them wrong. Today this is called psychology.

Just when I got my lawn to where the HOA can stick the ‘friendly reminders’ up the street AND I can sleep soundly at night. BTW I do NOT own NOR would I use the leaf blower(s) mentioned. Noise pollution if there is such a thing but obnoxiously noisy and annoying. Besides, I do not want to be responsible, or named a terrorist, OR co-conspirator in the climate change/ global warming debate.
Now I DO take pleasure in the occasional fart and I am DILIGENTLY working on a classification schema. Standby for that or send $$ for a prelminary or advanced copy before publication.
To inform all that a change is on way, I will be letting by annual substack subscription to Unreported Truths expire and won’t be renewing.
WHY?
I am limiting myself to only (2) subscriptions at a time and they need to be better-to-best available newsletters. Alex B has played out with the covid, vaccines and selling his books. HE DOES NOT seem to have ED for twitter but does seem to be miffed at his censorship and that they shut his account down. Just a little played out, stale and looking for a better, higher thrill. I am thinking the covid hoax is over. BUT WAIT …
I mean this from the guy that thinks Hunter is the smartest guy he knows AND who finished LAST in his graduating class in law school AND admitted to plagiarism more than once, I WOULD believe a) the sky is falling, b) the British are coming or c) the Russians are coming first before I trusted any of this moron's nonsense.
Anyway, I have been getting more ‘likes’ on comments posted to Kanekoa the Great pieces and I am admiring and looking forward to joining Sidney Powell’s Defending the Republic substack subscribers list. Posting comments there will reach far more learned movers and fellow shakers. I should be ALL IN late August when UT/AB subscription ends.

Yesterday I painted some glass eyes and today I can set them. This operation takes each piece to a new level. They seem to come alive when they get eyes. It’s only a short (relatively) step or process after setting the eyes that painting begins and (hopefully) soon ends in a successful project.
