The day is still cool as the sun rises. Summer is here, a couple of weeks ahead of schedule and yesterday the merc hit 40°C and expecting more of the same this day. Beastly hot, brutal and certainly unrelenting so preparing for the worst early on. I was reflecting a day or two ago that maybe the aliens or space-type explorers were incorrect and this planet is not truly habitable for it is far from comfortable without man-made equalizers and climate-controllers for heat an cold.
Anyway, I am ‘into it’ here now sufficiently for this report.
When I was able to complete the rack rollout and fired up my PDAs, I read some headlines from a new ‘news’ source. Like ALL ‘news’ sources, this was is simply amusing, biased and clearly selling fraudulent, criminal or political nonsense.

Conspiracy, harboring a criminal aka ’Hunter’ one of the ‘smatest guys’ he knows. GIVE ME A BREAK !!
MISSING 70-YEAR OLD MAN FOUND. This was a HUGE relief. Then I realized I wasn’t quite 70 (yet) AND wasn’t aware I WAS LOST.

There was a spot of bad news on Friday. Recall notifications to artists for ARToberFEST in Galveston were to be sent out. Received an electronic mail on Friday that ‘computer issue(s)’ would delay said notification one (1) week to this Friday, 17 June.
OK. Got to dash. S1 is coming over again today for more hanging out. We had a very good day yesterday. We did some woodworking in the garage and he got good with the operation given for starters. We stopped early to save some work and keep anticipation and excitement high.
We went swimming a couple of times but it was so hot and the sun intense staying exposed for long was not prudent and marginally insane. Today’s another day.
There were the nap(s) and rest periods and of course meals and healthy snacks in between.
So a slow and relaxed pace for another scorcher. June isn’t half-over and now wondering the odds and probability of survival of a Texas summer here on planet Earth.
