Seven six 22

Andy R/ Did you ever find something serendipitously that you gave up on looking for after repeated unsuccessful searches over weeks and maybe months?

OH NO. LET ME GUESS … YOU HAVE …

Look it. I was warned about you and remember I AM A GUEST here trying to help out and therefore garnered a modicum of r-e-s-p-e-c-t.

I don’t know who you are accustomed to working with but I am BIG STAR or was. I don’t get off the rails by the likes of you.

So if YOU approve young lady, I’d like to carry on WITHOUT further interruptions. POR FAVOR.

Early this morning, during the free electricity time, I was looking for one of my favorite pens. With these pens, I usually have 3-4 in one spot, hanging around and I use one of them. This I call an ‘abundance.’

Then I have periods, or spells, when I cannot find one (1) a single pen for notes or planning purposes. I refer to this as a ‘famine’ of pens.

This morning was one of those times.

I found my back pack hanging where it is supposed to be in the ‘haunted’ closet. I had taken it to Corpus and I knew I had extra pens handy for this trip.

Well I didn’t find a pen in the pack but digging deep in the front intermediate pocket I found this piece of molded formed plastic and I recognized it at once.

I had not seen this critical piece of my designer, high-dollar Italian racing glasses in a couple of months when the amber lens dropped and

broke. Thank Heavens I was smart enough to salvage the nose piece but curse on me for ‘hiding’ it so well OR forgetting where it was that I was soon planning to BUY another pair of DHDIRG. I didn’t and SOOO close that I am calling this further proof of Divine Intervention. The tsunami of JOY nearly brought a tear to my eye.

The training ride today was quick. The 24k hard ride was covered in 56:40 with a 37.4km max (GOAL 70km/hr) with an avg 25.4 so good all the way around. I hit 30, got to 35 and just tried to keep the rate and go for as long as possible above 30. Needless to say conditions were favorable to good. It doesn’t happen every time and one cannot anticipate or expect such results each time out but it was a good mental exercise for training purposes.

Get it, hit it and push it.

The new read is really kicking in. Into chapter 3 and great enjoyment. I spoke to S1 during his lunch break and was describing it to him as one to read. An artist has a head injury and tries to piece things together. He is in a psychiatric hospital admitted in a tuxedo and clues are not easy to find at this point and even more difficult for him to sort out.

He has no experience with ANY sort of drugs and the description of a dose of benzodiazepine was remarkable.

The good part is it can only get better.

Yesterday I drove a LONG way to pick more blueberries. It was a fun and relaxing drive, the ride thru the country side cool.

I just opened the spots app (spotify), listened to my ‘favorites’ and made a playlist of some really great songs I hadn’t heard in a long time which was a terrific mix.

Send $1.00 for the playlist.

I guess that’s all folks.

For today.

Views and reads are holding steady and low on wix but edging closer to double figures on the stack (substack) as I continue to hone my craft.

It is warm again today and financial planning is a high priority. I am thinking a cool off dip like SOON and continue the cooling inside, in the shade, doing some reading, writing and as mentioned finances.

A special Thanks to guest ghost writer Andy R for making an appearance of sorts from the other side.

I’m thinking TOMORROW for the next entry as the day/date is shaping up very nicely.

aloha peeps.
