This would be a new day, new month, a clean sheet of paper and the seasonal transition is now officially underway.

The morning breaks and the day so far is unfolding much like August but hey, stick around and it WILL CHANGE.

So yesterday I got actively involved in a project vital to the success of the Integrated artist.

The Galveston show in October is ‘live’ that weekend however for two weeks prior to the show is 'virtual'.

Like many shows did in 2020 they set up websites that allow patrons to shop from home, buy art not just during the show but as in this case before and some even AFTER the show.

Are you seeing the possible magnitude of gathering the data and making it presentable as to generate sales, orders which translate to revenues?

The data for the artist is gathered in a complex excel spreadsheet with many, many blocks to populate for each item and you (the artist in this case ME) has to fill them all in AND is the ONLY ONE that can perform this tasking. Some are tricky and to combat this there is a software package containing tutorial videos which is naturally most helpful.

Also, the ARToberFEST director is a sweetheart and uber-helpful. This show is artist friendly like the best. So I need now good photos of the items going for sale.

It's just like anything else. The more you put in the front end as in effort, sweat & time, the greater the ROI (return on that investment).

That is only one part of the demands on time.

There is a new ceiling fan to hang in the Master & Commander suite. Again, the youtube video ‘how to’ was viewed once and now maybe a second and not ashamed iffen I watch it a third time. I only WISH I could do it in 13:47. Overdue and behind schedule. I had to semi-disassemble the bed to get the ladder in position for a few days.

SO WHERE DID YOU SLEEP? ON THE COUCH??

Funny. I slept in the Island room just down the hall upstairs. That fan wobbles only slightly and the noise is bearable unlike the one requiring replacement. The new one has a remote and LED light options so it certainly is an upgrade.

FINALLY to wrap this up for the good of all, large, breaking news.

I have discovered possibly a new home and vehicle for the writing/blog project.

As I approach entry 1000 (925), this would give me a nice reserve or storehouse if needed to draw back on.

I am considering joining a ‘community’ of writers of a higher level and here’s the best part, the ‘community’ organizers or software COLLECT SUBSCRIPTIONS.

That’s right. People are actually collecting fees for such work and some making five (5) figures/month and other even more. It is kind of like Uber or air-b-an-b for writers.

Kind of exciting and of course still pondering a final decision.

The lure of easy money and maybe lots of it is very attractive however now I am struggling with the 85% of the iceberg BELOW the surface that cannot be seen as in unintended consequences and the negative aspects that could occur with proceeding blindly.

AREN’T YOU THOROUGH.

One must ALWAYS protect oneself, be vigilant and do due diligence to assure success.

I mean I seem to have this talent, God says I should use it and He knows I could use a higher percentage of discretionary income.
