Excuse me Fans and followers for I have set a NEW RECORD of sorts. A WEEK, as in seven (7) days, since my last confession, report or full disclosure.

OMG. WE THOUGHT MAYBE YOU DIED OR WERE RUBBED OUT BY SOME GROUP OR INDIVIDUAL YOU OFFENED, CHAPPED OR PISSSED OFF …

Well Ms Bold Caps your first mistake was ‘thinking’. After that, a good point well presented and taken.

But short answer … no.

As Tonto once said ‘Much water pass by teepee’.

So with the threat or promise of good things, let us go forth.

To say I have been ‘busy’ would be a gross injustice and misrepresentation of the situation.

The show is this weekend, the final stages are underway and a major milestone will occur in only four (4) hours.

So I have ‘free time’ as in 'nano' because it is early and I SUCCESSFULLY applied, negotiated ALL challenges and obstacles and submitted for entry to the 2022 WWAF. I paid, received confirmation and this time I am much more confident than last year but more on this another time. Recall last year I made the ‘wait list.’

This is huge because WWAF is a prestigious event but more because of the timing and execution on my part. The deadline is this coming Sunday, 17 Ø which is the SAME day and time I will be at ARToberFEST in Galveston.

WELL DIDN’T WE HAVE OUR FECAL MATERIAL NICE AND NEATLY PILED?

I can’t speak for you & your poop but I will accept and appreciate that as a compliment even if it is not.

The reason I have ANY-to-small ‘free’ time at all as in right now is I completed the submission after some challenges I really do not want to bore readership with. The biggest, largest and single most significant however should NOT have been attaching the FINAL file of an image. I was frustrated by and with the system not accepting my file format which was absurd and insane but I tried ONE MORE TIME and it worked.

So I guess you could say I am celebrating while I can and am slightly giddy.

Elsewhere in the world, after ‘A’ for art we have ‘B’ for baseball.

The Red Sox eliminated a very good and talented Tampa team and will be in Houston starting Friday. My carving student is an Astros fan and going to the game and S1 has called TWICE inquiring on a road trip as we did in 2018. I had to impress upon him especially the second time I could not, would not put off this show as I simply had too much invested and at stake and to do so would be TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE on my part.

Well, apparently he GOT THAT this time and case closed.

IF I can get set up in time Friday night maybe I can find a bar or restaurant open that has the game on and watch a little bit of it on telly. Perhaps. A bar ... ya think?

I think I would still prefer the home boy Red Sox nation broadcasters but who knows.

The adventure starts now.

I am being cautious, careful and guardedly optimistic trying to manage my expectations and NOT become overcome, overwhelmed or swept away by the current, flood or some unforeseen disaster.
