11:30 N 20 /LAST

Fret knot Fans this is the ‘LAST’ entry for the month of N aka November. ANY rumor of my demise is exaggerated or wishful thinking on the part of my disturbed detractors.

It is 11:30 ALL DAY today but it is a Monday, early, and most likely the only time this week I will be able to offer an update or teeny-tiny peek under the covers to what’s going on here at the cloud.

NEWSFLASH ... Christmas is now OFFICIALLY approaching. Lots of lights and all kinds of decorations quite a few in questionable taste went up over the weekend in the hood as citizens apparently under the influence of some sort Holiday spirit are so moved.

SCROOGE. DID YOU GET THINGS DECORATED?

Uh, no.

Going to wait until the last minute. I have starting turning on the green light in the carriage lamp outside the garage.

Whenever I think of it however it is not my highest priority to be quite frank.

I have a faux tree planned with an ornament in the unlikely event I get a visitor(s). You could call it what I do an emergency Christmas decoration so people don’t think one (this one) is nuts.

This will be a crunch week with an art show coming up Saturday at Tupp’s. By now A-listers should have received electronic written invitations. This will very likely be the last local show I participate in.

I MAY HAVE FAILED to mention that I have successfully applied to WWAF …

I navigated the treacherous website, on-line application form(s), met the image requirements AND received electronic confirmation of successful submission. So the app is in. Schedule timeline is review next week and artists will be notified next Friday 11 D.

The WAC (they prefer Woodlands Art Council) are super organized and first class all the way. I should know either way by Saturday a week which will determine exactly how I will be spending the next five (5) months.

WHEN IS THE SHOW?

The weekend of April 10-11.

Listen, I will leak additional details when I learn if I get juried in. This is a large, nationally-regarded show and admission would be a significant accomplishment. NOT ASKING, requesting or soliciting ‘prayers’ for this is NOT the sort of thing one ‘prays’ for. Bad form.

It works or it doesn’t. My work is good enough, measures up and is accepted or it simply is not. I can handle a decision either way.

It will be interesting to see how I stack up, how my work is evaluated and seen by others and the WHOLE thing.

One tidbit, either way (IOW ‘regardless) is that now and I have starting receiving email broadcast blasts for shows across the country. ALL high end aka high dollar so no need to mess with the local ‘community’.

Kind of cool as the locals were growing just a bit stale.

I honestly do not know if I am worthy of the larger stage but in a couple of weeks I WILL find out.

Again honestly I can report a new level of excitement.

Must dash before I slobber over myself or my head explodes.

I have a show to get ready for THIS weekend then wait patiently for news on the next one.

I can both handle and live with that.

I think I’ll make a little fire in the fireplace first.
