Todays date, two pair. Under the right circumstances it COULD BE a winner. A most pleasant day beginning as the sun shines brightly but make no mistake, it is a bit beyond chilly and marginally cold.

A small fire in the fireplace would be a nice edge remover but I am acclimated and frankly do not have the time to sit in front of the fireplace feeding the flames with all the Christmas crap hanging over my head.

A lighter paperback, ‘The Man with Bogarts Face’. Andrew Fenady author of The Rebel just finished and co-creator of the tv series. I ordered 'The Rebel and The King' and it is supposed to arrive today. I have been emailing Allyson Adams and she is going to sign the book which is cool.

‘The Man with Bogarts Face’ is a funny, mindless thriller that is short and moving quickly. IOW, A fun read.

Seriously now I got to run.

The Christmas letter for 2020 is under the final wraps and looking good as everyone expects.

DID YOU HEAR FROM THE 2021 WWAF JURY? WASN’T THE NOTIFCATION DEADLINE 11D ??

Yes. I did hear and semi-good news. Semi because I am on the wait list.

POR FAVOR EXPLAIN THE ‘GOODNESS’ HERE?

Certainly. Being ‘wait listed’ is NOT the same as ‘sorry, your work isn’t good enough’.

It is NOT an outright rejection which to normal people COULD BE devastating.

With the epidemic and the related uncertainty, the show will MOST LIKELY go on however the PROBABILITY(IES) of no-shows and drop-outs is considerably higher than normal so I am buoyed by that and optimistic of moving up the list am perhaps getting a call later.

The new/next deadline is 14F so in the meantime I have to act and purport QUIETLY like I am in so planning including logisitcs, strategizing and building inventory WILL continue.

Stopping and then waiting in an analog or linear manner would be just plain stupid and let’s face it, that is NOT me.
