WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE ? SINCE WHEN DO YOU POST A REPORT ON THE 13th ?? I THOUGHT THE ‘POLICY’ WAS ‘NO (AS IN ZERO (Ø) ENTRIED ON THE 13TH DAY ???

Well Ms Bold Caps call it a ‘shortie’ or a ‘quickie’ to YOUR preference however I do and will explain fully disclosing the logic, reasoning and thought process behind this exception and outlier.

Somewhere in my earliest education under ‘Religion’, there was an edict, I am not certain it was a commandment but it COULD BE (EMMA !!??) so I hesitate calling it that and it reads ‘Thou shalt not have false Gods.’

Best I can recall at the time the lesson included worshipping such pagan idols and statues, myths and such false gods and included superstitions. Friday the 13th IS a superstition and using the 13th of ANY months is my convenient excuse for not doing an entry or report.

A ‘built in’ day off if you will allow me.

Today is a ‘double whammy’, it is early as in the early time between last of the ‘free’ electricity and natural daylight AND I have some Procrastination time surplus.

I AM planning activities and the day, no training as in an ‘OFF’ day and a date for lunch later in HISTORIC (and now ‘PRICEY’) downtown McKinney.

So I am taking the advantage to SMASH the superstition, break the rule(s) as in the 80-20 and take a short break from the otherwise busy duties of an emerging artist.

Yesterday I had the ac/heat checked and new thermostats installed. A littl learning curve there and I expect a payback in the thermostats within a year.

Current reads now number three (3) which is some sort of record.

Finishing up the history of Galveston. I learned that prostitution was ‘tolerated’ there along with gambling DURING MY LIFE TIME.

OK, so it went away when I was 2 or 3 but still. There was a red light district and it is on my bucket list for the next visit to check out and see if the walls can or will talk.

I passed thru the McKPL a week or two ago and saw ‘New Releases’ The Hero Code’ which was intriguing so I bought it on amazon with some reward points I had accumulated from AmEx card.

This one is mostly repackage common sense and a rehash of the admirals life and career as a Navy SEAL.

I mean I COULD HAVE written it were I a seal.

Then yesterday I got my copy of ‘License to Lie’ by Sidney Powell. Such a brave and courageous lady details corruption in the Department of Justice.

If you THINK that there is nothing wrong with American and in our country, you should read THIS book.

I am only in the forward/intro and Wowsville. Founding Father’s (AND mothers) would be spinning and somersaulting in their tombs to see what is going on. Scary, frightening, disturbing AND disgusting. I only hope and pray I can get thru this one by say Christmas.
