Today is moving day. I must get back to McK as I am 100% certain the lawn needs mowing among other things. The upside is I have about 3-3.5 hours of solitary confinement to jot notes and prioritize actionable items at safe touchdown in McK.

So much to do, and I am officially way behind.

Behind schedule AND running behind. I posted a comment on a yahoo board and got a couple of ‘likes’. Then I tried to do a couple of more in ‘reply’s and couldn’t get back in. I am THINKING that the ‘community.guidlines’ are a politically correct verbiage for ‘censorship’.

I just finished a very late breakfast, got a training ride in and ran a couple of errands. I am waiting a bit for breakfast to settle before pushing the lawn mower around. Truth be known that (the lawn) was a major reason for heading back from Houston. I was dreading a self-imposed and imaginary ‘friendly reminder’ from local hoa(x) gestopo Nazis. Good news THAT didn’t happen.

Still, it IS looking like it needs a trim.

HOW WAS THE RIDE?

It was ok. The numbers were good but the HH100 is looking bad. I MAY just start prepping for 2023 now. Far too many logistic issues. The gap in training while I am not complaining at all noted with little impact. Registration now is a problem but more so is lodging in WF the night before. The event has gotten too big for its britches with hotels charging a two (2) night minimum stay THAT weekend. That’s like GOUGING, DOUBLING the nightly rate no matter how you cut it and ‘welcome to Wichita Falls’. We want your money … come … spend it OR leave it THEN LEAVE.

I know and I did say that. Far too many crazies, fecaladas and fecalistas floating, lingering and lurking in the dark swampy waters of the internet.

But I couldn’t resist an article on Mitch McConnell that was BEGGING for a sharp comment. I am willing to bet that when McConnell was a young lad he was pummeled REPEATEDLY on the playground. Once a punching bag, always a punching bag.

Anyway, I posted a couple twice (2) to get a couple of the likes.

I ended it opting to move on, along and switched to blogging while the oatmeal w/ everything settles and before starting the lawn mower.

I got the Cubs vs Brewers on for some nice friendly noise in the background.

Planning and logistics for art business is also running in the background of my mind. The low-relief red snapper is at the photographer for ‘jury shot’. Going to submit Lutjanus campechanus for Atrium 23 in Frisco and the Waterway Art Festival in April 2023. That’s most of the ‘logistics’. Getting pieces and projects of high caliber and quality finished to photograph and submit to the juries for acceptance into the shows.

Also, while in Houston, I started revamping the wix website. This is a HUGE task but I have time and just need to dedicate time each day and focus on small bites to finish in a time within reason.

I need to figure out something for supper. Maybe watermelon and an ice cream cone.

How can I get four (4) food groups out of THAT?
