Bill here & I am outside the Grande Comforte Zone & off the cloud as well as off the grid.

SO WHERE ARE YOU?

For Security reasons, I am in Houston spending Christmas time with Family. FB, S2 & FBNextGen are all out at work or school, respectively so I have the run of the place including the tv remote as well as all the fun & cool things that I brought for amusing & entertaining myself during this down time period.

SO WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

Doing the blog at the moment. The tv is on but the cable service here is admirably limited. No music channels are available & there are more Hispanic soap operas & blabbering idiot shows so it is not tomb-qiuet. I have the two books to read & I have some things to post (think pictures & art work in the Gallery) to enhance the website.

WHAT BOOK(S)?

Two (2) self-help books & both are ‘good’ but dreadfully boring & there has to be nothing (ABSOLUTELY nothing) better to do BEFORE I pick one up.

Rediscovering Catholicism by Matthew Kelly has to be read & digested in smaller pieces. Worth the time but a challenge with all the activites & pace of the Holiday season.

Then there is How Adam Smith Can Change Your Life by Russ Roberts. I heard this one on NPR & it sounded good so I bought it. Roberts is an economist & did a better job selling on the radio making the book sound better than I am finding it at the moment. Truthfully however it is slow going because of the writing style of Smith himself plus Roberts’ style & interpretation(s) are a little deep & sticky to read especially early on. I will post full book review / reports in the book section when each is completed as a ‘free servioe’ to members.

So already this morning I shipped the two packages of gifts that I missed yesterday as I was leaving the cloud. I just ran out of time so I sent them from Houston.

OK. That’s all for now. Not sure if I can post this remotely here & now and without a local, it may be later than sooner before this is published. I will have to wait if the passeord has changed, is required OR this ‘smart’ machine has forgotten it.

Not to worry as I will fill in the gaps eventually.
