MORE April showers it would appear this day. After waking, feeling ok, good but short of great, the early morning sun was filling the solarium/conservatory/study with warm light. Before I had the first cup of coffee drained, it clouded over, now thundering near & far and if it doesn’t rain, I will need to retool my day plan.

Patty visited afterwork yesterday & for some reason we got talking about the weather. Best I can recall now is the subject was weekend activity & plan(s). Seems more rain wasn’t SUPPOSED to roll in until late Wednesday or Thursday. I think today is only Tuesday.

OK. Reality update.

Yesterday I actually did complete most of the gardening with planting & transplanting so all well there for some precipitation. A smaller corner area needs a little more attention to pass muster but this involves ripping out some mint & is started so a day or three extra won’t harm that effort.

Slowly simmering estate bumper crop & over-abundance of mint into syrup. That process can continue to completion today.

I was working on the wood duck yesterday when Patty rolled in & I feel that that project has reached critical mass & sufficient inertia to complete. With the weather looking as it does, it will be a great project to do today whilst it rains.

I also did some work on the Bbwd yesterday as well. As & in accordance wirh (IAW) plan. Needing some serious time on shaping the body before penciling in the feather groups.

It is really dark now & still only an occasional rumble of thunder.

Come to think about it, I COULD stay right here with this machine & update & post the Florida trip report from February as well as the bios for the ducks lost to DU this year.
