With the w/e recap, here goes ...
Recall last entry re the transgender youngster? Here is a possible explanation.
This item came across the desk by way of the inbox, formerly known as the in-BASKET…
Perhaps, no, maybe, JUST MAYBE the parents of these little transgender children are at fault for not knowing OR not feeding their little charges the right food. They (PARENTS) themselves either are 1) ignorant, 2)undisciplined or 3) ignorant.
I worked with a fellow once that made an off-hand comment that a certain co-worker was the result of what happened when you allowed just anyone (everyone) to breed & have children.
But alas, the world is not a perfect place & we must all take the pitches thrown our way. I’m talking curves, chin music, high hard ones & yes, even the bean balls. We LOOK & wait for that fat hanging curve or non-knuckeling knuckle ball to drive into the bleachers however no pitcher is going to throw those to a batter ALL the time. One must be patient, which means waiting for that right pitch to drill out of the park.
Saturday began as an absolutely GLORIOUS day. The rain from the night before had cooled the air & water had collected both un and intentionally in containers scattered about the compound.
The basil plants in a small container required immediate attention and a tomato tranny-plant in a much larget container had not drained & was filled with water so some immediate attention is required there.
I made a small, efficient breakfast for one & plussed up the coffee.
Sunday was the Earth Day Dallas shindig downtown at Fair Park. Rode the train for the adventure & met up with Virginia who was working the SC booth that afternoon. Interesting, tiring & glad to get back home & plan for the upcoming week. Leisurely.
So today, with a very full dance card, I had the alarm watch set to not only get up but GETTING out early a MUST & UNDERSCORED.
I cashed in nearly $40 ($39.60) for aluminum cans & some leftover copper wire shortly after 8:00 am. From there, to Minuteman Press & my Friends. I explained to Kenny & Krystal my problem with the digital .pdf file for the book manuscript, the corrections needed & they said it would be easy, did it in a minute & emailed it to my account. When I got back home, I submitted the second revision for review & approval so hopefully this one format will pass muster & we go forward to VIRAL.
Got a reply for a Letter to the Editor from the IIE magazine editor Michael.
And there was a brief email from Oz. Emma was requesting prayers as she is or will be undergoing a stress test there soon. Me thinks she is just over-worrying but prayers will be done none the less. Some words of encouragement went out in a private correspondance.
But BEFORE I dropped off the grid last night, S1 flashes me a text message that he bought a bike & wanted to go for a training ride today his off day.
Well, last night before turning in early to thunder & intense lightning, I was having doubts. I wanted to see local weather as the ‘smart phone’ Weather App had rain all day anywhere from 30-70 %. Local news had only remote chances for rain but cooler, MUCH cooler temperatures. Like hovering around 16. So we agreed to post pone in favor of hitting some golf balls & lunch.
Fast Forward, we did all that. Lunch at Del’s, the #1 hot dog & burger joint in Richardson. One of his buddies owns it and after his signature AWFUL directions, I found it. The burger was good but the red meat was unfamiliar to my system, a larger quantity of food for lunch normally & all I could think of was a nap. Ruined the day. Almost.
But before, while having breakfast (REWIND), the morning news apparently experiencing a poor news day was featuring … Juice Brenner. I mean PLEASE POKE ME in the eye with a hot stick !!
‘The courage … (WHAT?). ?
His first wife’s reaction when he first told her … ‘He was such a many man back then …’ OK.
Now he is hooked up with the KARDASHIANS of all people. And he (or is IT a SHE yet?) seems to be ENJOYING all the attention.
Disgusting fits, NOT courageous. I say The FIRST tranny President. We can SKIP the first female FIRST… Me thinkith this be enough already however not since ptsd has the mental health profession been staring down such a cash cow of GRANDE bbq proportions.
And moving along … pictures of looting now in Baltimore. Apparently an ‘all you can carry’ sale at a CVS store featured highlight. Police cars burning, very nice. The Baltimore CofC must be pleased & proud.
‘Mourners’ tossing rocks, bricks & fire bombs at police, police & fireman responding with tear gas, rubber bullets & fire hoses. Sounds fair to me. These are the times we live in.
And FINALLY, a vicious earth quake in Nepal. Hundreds, maybe THOUSANDS killed, injured or displaced however the highlight is on the four (4) Americans ‘lost’ (killed) on, at or near Mount Everest.
Don’t get me wrong, PLEASE don’t take me for the ‘unfeeling, cruel, unsympathetic etc sort …’, but it is sad, it will ALL happen AGAIN tomorrow night & prayers go out. But it is the ‘presentation’ that galls.
I want to know how the newscasters can go on & even READ one awful such story after the next night after night. They must have the best therapists money can buy. Call Mike Rowe for this is truly a Dirty Job.
GRANDPA, TELL ME AGAIN WHY YOU WATCH THE NEWS ?
