Five eleven 2015
Real quick entry today & NO apologies whatsoever.
After a spell of severe weather, mostly rain, the skies have cleared this Monday morning, the sun shines brilliantly, it is cool (16 C) & only a zephyr spreads the chill & moved the leaves,
There is pretty much water everywhere. Containers are filled & need attention. The plants out doors are all doing marvy loving it. I must give some of the sprouted seedlings away as I now have some surpluses.
Walt paid a visit late last week back after two (2) weeks in HI. Brought back stories of adventure & Kauai coffee that is like a drug. I had forgotten how good Hawaiian coffee was. The more you have, the more you want & the lift is incredibly awesome.
Like last week & on the weekend, I began the move into the upstairs finally. New mattresses showed up, delivered as planned & promised so now Bill’s B & B, LUXURY resort & Gentlemen’s Supper club is one small step further along.
Attended previously mentioned social function last night in Highland Park aka the Wurst Party Ever. A lovely evening, hosts were marvy & guest list superb. I think the brat I drew was a shade undercooked as this morning a violent bout of bowel activity happened.
Round dos provided a bit of a scare when the observed stool specimen was red until I reclassified the event a false alarm. Someone brought a marvelous beet dish of which I shamelessly had seconds. Recall intructions from the dreaded colonoscopy procedure that CLEARLY advise AGAINST eating tomatoes & beets immediately before the exam. It was a HUGE relief & I swear my pants are now fitting better.
I postponed the trip to Houston this week. Walt’s wife is out of town so we could conspire for evil or go bike riding. Tomorrow is the monthly alum luncheon so I can do that. However frankly & simply I had/have way too many other things that need, no, REQUIRE, attention. Such as another hot job lead to run down here in town.

As I was explaining to the FB’s early this morning, this day will be the only opportunity to catch up on the yard work this week as rain is being reforecasted again as early as tomorrow afternoon.
It seems like I haven’t been on a bike ride in weeks and as I was waking this day was thinking a longer training ride might be in order. Anywhere from 1-4 hours depending on the list of things to do. Four is probably extreme today but a single four (4) hour session around the course would be a very good data point & will be done this Spring before the HH100 for sure as part of the Program.
OK. Got to cut & run. I think the lawn will be the first activity removed from the to-do list. Give things a chance to warm up a bit before taking the ride. Continue the move upstairs …
