Six-three-fifteen
Numerically significant day/date & I could not pass up the opportunity to fire up & post an entry. All divisible by the prime number 3.
This will be short & crisp as I am extremely pressed for time today.
BUT FIRST ... Today's photos are backyard Flowers by Bill. The first (l) is from lagoon (water) level. White wavies at the bottom is the bird bath.
These are a gift from Walt as he thinned his fence border out a bit & I was teh benficiary. I really like the orange color & only wish these came on at the same time as the spider lily. I think that would be a spectacular picture but the world of flowers does not follow the rules or laws of Bill.
Walt called them Tiger lilies but back east they grow along the side of nearly every rural road & are refered to commonly as Mountain lilies. In my mind they are the same unless & until I do some further research which would be some time as one (you) might guess. I tried to bring some back once & transplanted successfully to 811 but then moved from there.
I suppose I could chop them down & call it a cutting garden.
SO WHERE IS THE FIRE OGO?
Someone had to ask so a big Thank You. (insert smiley face)
Today at 3:00 I am playing golf in Arlington at Rolling Hills CC with a friend of a friend. I have been practicing, working on my game, last night with Patty on the range & attacking the physical problems systematically with advil, the heating pad & light stretching workouts. I feel good, primed & ready. Almost anxious to be sure. I think last night I rediscovered a recurring swing fault so I am optimistic. But must temper expectations lower for the worse.
But before I head to Arlington, I have an appointment to meet with a doctor at Presbyterian Hospital. John H is a cardiology consultant there & organizes a Literature & Medicine program for residents. I read an article in the DMN (local paper), thought it might be a good material fit for my next IIE mag article so I contacted him. He is willing to meet so we set it up & today is the day.
Very exciting and one of those days where if this is work, it is fun. OR, if I was working & gainfully employed, I would not be doing this at all and missing a certifiable blast. I am thinking in the grand scheme of things, it is all going to work out.
So tootels Fans.
Weather report is good & getting better. Sunny, warm & approaching hot AND NO RAIN. So the lagoon is looking more tempting every day.
Can I say aloha again ?
Bill out.
