Monday again.

I looked at my truly smart watch last Friday for the first time on waking & it was 6:26:15. I mean to the second.

I have seen my DOB many such times waiting for it to roll around & pop up to take a moment to reflect on the significance of numbers but this was truly a first. Talk about timing.

TIMING? TIMING !!

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN & UP TO WHAT ?

OK Emma, not even sure when the Last Confession was not to mention the last report or entry.

That said, this is quick, highlights only from a 50,000 feet view will have to suffice.

Received word just this morning that visitors from Houston will be gracing the cloud for July 4 Holiday & weekend festivities.

Extra staff has been summoned for grounds & domestic tidiness. The place MUST BE sufficiently kept up & if not yours truly could be a candidate for a home or assisted living facility being deemed unable to care for self by Family.

First order of business in that regard is clean out to make room in the ice box. Patty continues to find empty containers ‘taking up space’. I told her to be careful because they could be science experiments or containers selected for reuse. I can & must now judge & make those decisions & quickly.

Will be needing to stockpile cold adult beverages and have plenty of room for the things a two (2) year old eats. A very large ripe watermelon already has a place of honor taking up most of a shelf.

Finished this morning Andrew Keens FIRST book. Of the three, read in reverse order only because that was how they were obtained.

Purchased the 3rd, the McKinney public library had the second & I found the first one last at Half-price Books.

All good, but a common thread resonates. No. 1 is slightly outdated already. From 2007, many reference with/to MySpace. I learned at about this time when Facebook was becoming the raging trend from the local Cardashian’s that the anwswer WAS Facebook & NO ONE was using MySpace anymore. Anyway, that gaggle is long gone.

The tea this morning is iced for all the right reasons & sweetened with mint syrup. Very nice. Sun tea, (herb) variety from estate mint, fresh, dried & in the syrup so practicing what is being preached ‘When the mint goes wild … ‘.

I made batch of killer mustard on Sunday. Always good.

I found a new place to shop here locally. Winco is a chain of employee-owned stores from the Left coast, Oregon I think, migrating east. Very large bulk area with all kinds of items. Oatmeal was $.69/lb. Much less that previous local prices & I needed some. Hot dogs were $.78 a package, buns $.25.

The BIG debate with self & Patty here at the cloud is ‘hot dogs … boiled, steamed, bbq or fried.’ Yes, Rediscovering hot dogs. Sauerkraut was a bargin as Wally’s mart, a two (2) pound bag for $1.50.

Me, Patty & Walt went for a long bike ride on Sunday. Patty dropped out as her conditioning stint continues. Walt & I went 1.5 hours & EXACTLY 30 km (close to 20 miles). That was a good workout.

On Saturday, we attended a program at the DMA. Undermain Theater in conjunction with. Very well done & a nice different diversion. We were right downtown so we found a food truck for a quick bite. A small Greek pizza was really good.

From there headed to the Cathedral & Mass. The Bishop said Mass & what an event. Patty & I both got Communion from the Bishop as it worked out. Very cool.

What else?

Nothing.

Need to summon the staff to make ready for the weekend & the Fourth of July Holiday.

Who knows. Perhaps Emma herself will stop around as she flees (NOT FLEAS) winter in Oz & visits the US of A in July.

How about I’ll leave a light on ?

Duties & staff responsibilities call.

Aloha Fans.
