Seven / seven

This numerically significant day nearly slipped by but I couldn’t allow that to happen & miss an opportunity.

This will be short as it is late & I must be up early to got for blueberries.

WHAT? AGAIN ??

The season is winding down & there will be NO MORE until the sun moves around another full loop. This batch will be mostly eaten fresh, maybe freeze one bag perhaps make some jam. IDK. This is the way it is when one is blueberry rich. .

One can never have enough superfoods on hand either fresh or in the freezer I have always said.

So I am watching the news tonight and yet another disaster strikes in Charleston, South Carolina.

An F-16 fighter jet collided mid-air with a little single engine private (Piper) plane.

The Lunatic on Lakewood MUST BE all moved in & over there. Yet ANOTHER disaster in Charleston. What is it now 3 or 4 since she pulled out of here? If I looked it up on facebook, I would be stalking but you know what ? I really don’t give a hoot.

I went up to K-Roget late this afternoon. Should have worn a belt. It started to rain just as I was about to leave so I saddled Silver instead of taking the bike. Well, without the bike shorts or undies, plus the weight of the phone, keys & wallet in my pocket, gravity kept wanting to pull them down. I kept having to discretely yank them up mid-aisle when no one was looking.

Worked on two (2) artistic projects today. Cosmic reef & The View from Dukes. Dukes is shaping up & looking smashing. I can’t wait to work on it again so it definitely has momentum.

I found my next read right here in the castle library. Purchased in a box of darn-near new books at an estate sale, John LeCarre’s spy thriller Absolute Friends. I read a couple of things by him so it should be good.

Spent a couple of hours on the phone today with the geek squadron sorting out some electronically transmitted disease on the machine. I mean it was just going effing nuts. Pop-ups coming out of no where, being constantly redirected to shopping sites for crap I didn’t need or want. Real nice.

Todays picture arrived over night from Oz. Emma was telling me about Coca-cola they have there in a green can that used stevia as the sweetening agent.

‘Go on’ I says. ‘Prove it’ so she sent a picture.

I am thinking it sightly resembles our American Bud Light Lime in the tall, slender (read 'sissy') green cans.

I wonder how it would be with a splash of Maker’s ?
