OK Fans, honestly now, this is it and a couple days off are in order. But first, an up-to-the-minute sounding to last until next time of happenings at, around & in the cloud.
Morning beverage to sip is the last of the gallon on 1% that expires TODAY BTW with just enough left for oatmeal later this morning for breakfast. Seasoned or spiced with cinnamon, ground nutmeg & agave.
Weather is sunny outside but the smartphone with the app says 8°. Inside upstairs quarters is 16° on one and 18° on the thermostat. Not bad however were there a spousal substitute or another sort of domestic human I am 100% certain there would be a REPEATED whine of ‘too cold.’
It is fine. Pleasant. Comfortable. Get over it & move. Put on a sweater. For crying out loud.
I bought a duck yesterday. It is in the freezer resting for when I get adventurous or over-ambitious in the cocina.
This morning I awoke to find in my in-box a report from Emma in Oz. The lost art of letter writing is NOT lost with Emma. The update was very well written, informative & lively. So sad more people can’t, don’t or won’t communicate this way. It has inspired yours truly to get a few cards, notes or letters out today myself.
Tonight I think I shall feast. I am thinking Bill’s Wicked Three-pepper turkey tacos. I have harvested purple & yellow bell peppers and the jalapenos are red & green now and behaving like a fountain.
To my utter delight, I have two (2) little ripe tomatoes, joy of joys, & the first crop of lettuce is ready to be thinned or culled so a small local salad is in order.
I have some garage work to do. The two (2) idiot lights in Silver went off again yesterday so it is time to act on cleaning the Mass Air sensor & filter.
The selected plants that get mid-week watering are on the dance card.
And finally, art projects. I am thinking now breathing a little sawdust will be a good test of my overall health. But so far, it looks like fighting the infection exposed to last weekend is succeeding.
Tomorrow, there is a webinar from Kaspersky on the Dangers of Phishing & Avoiding the LURE of cybercrime. S/b good.
See you in a couple of days.
