One December 2015
Out with the old, in with the new. Let me wax poetic here for a brief intro. The first day of the new month, the last month of the year 2015. Next month at this time it will be 2016.
Interior temperature remained steady overnight so no news to report there. It does however seem somewhat warmer as I did my brief geriatric workout before bounding down the stairs.
Perhaps I am just acclimating. I am going to need more funding to study this hypothesis in greater depth.
Today I am scheduled for a haircut in Richardson. So my morning routine is slightly altered to accommodate the trip out. Last night and yesterday I can report positively that the By water sign made great progress. Proceeding slowly, cautiously but most importantly methodically is making all the difference. All of the design elements & details are falling into place splendidly.
Should time allow after complete cleanup & breakfast, perhaps I can spend some time on the project prior to venturing out. If not, the rest of the day for sure.
I do have other objectives on the trip out post haircut.
I need to swing by Tupps Brewery for a recon. Art show there this Saturday so need to scope out the venue. If favorable, register & reserve the spot.
I need to stop & see Cal. Show him the tool so as I can ID & place an order. Maybe not needed as badly as first assumed for By water project but certainly in the near-term future.
Maybe some groceries but I can’t think of anything I cannot truly live without.
Omission from last entry: Finished The Man in the High Castle. Outstanding story. Looks like only one (1) season but wow. Amazon studios did a great job. I see ‘cult following’ developing.
In news/current events this morning, YOUR first dude is in Paris at some goofy ‘climate conference’. ALL or nearly all, OK. MOST of the worlds leaders are there talking about basically the weather while the rest of the continent or Europe is being invaded and over run my the next plague.
First dude is cleverly directing focus away from this ISSUE & threat to national security. BUT that’s OK …
That’s all I am going to say on this topic for now.
I am getting the vibe I upset someone and my schedule is full & pressing.
More from the NPR. A story that migrating ‘songbirds’ are carrying ‘non-indiginious’ mites introducing them to North America. What follows is an interview, that’s Q & A, with an associate professor at the Texas A & M School of Veternairy Medicine. Who sounded about 12 or 13.
This gets me to thinking.
LOOK OUT !!
Why finger just ‘songbirds’? Has this just suddenly started ? I think probably not and has likely been going on long before the professor could spell songbird. Someone gave her or her ‘team’ funding & they wanted badly something to study.
Now what are WE going to do about this pressing ISSUE to prevent (read this ‘proactive’) invasion of mites? Like the ones in the woods that cause lyme disease. Check ALL songbirds at the border? Just think of the lines at security when they try to cross the borders.
I KNOW !!
How about we just shoot all birds. Songbirds or not? They all look alike. I think they all sing at some time or another. Next they will be attacking humans (think A Hitchcock vehicle ‘The Birds), stealing our food. Ask any farmer if they haven’t already started that tactic.
The world is certainly a mess.
I hope that this soothes your soul a little bit, puts a smile on your face and enables you to carry on in your fullest capacity.
Finally, the problem with images has resurfaced. Will keep trying but I think it is something with the hardware, firmware or software. The last hypothesis that worked last time failed this time.
The struggles continue …
