Pearl Harbor Day.

Real quick as it has been nearly a week between entries and I am concurrently working on a list for today for planning & execution purposes to maximize & optimize my time.

The Holiday Art Bazaar Saturday at Tupps Brewery in McKinney was a resounding success. Generated much interest with my work and sold three (3) signs. The two (2) speculative signs were bought by one of the owners, another for a store with a deposit so that was great. One lady is strongly considering a sign for their lake house. I also ran into the clients that have PURCHASED the sign I am working on. I told them theirs would be done this week so must get cracking on that.

Last night I started & NEARLY finished the 2015 Christmas newsletter. Must get that to the printer sometime today with artwork for the card package.

Phone calls today … the upholseterer is WAY behind schedule on my night chair. Rattle THAT cage. I should have had that (as he promised) by Thanksgiving but now we are looking at Christmas maybe?

The property manager has not collected the December rent on the property. Going to drop the hammer there ‘What gives ?’ & 'what am I paying YOU for’?

Move some money around. There is a job opp to tug a little string on as well. A trip out to Home Depot for some sign mounting hardware ...

I did get the Christmas decorations up outdoors this weekend in a minor cause for celebration.

Patty came over & we watched some American football Sunday between dips in the spa. The NY giants played the ny jets in the ineptitude bowl. The giants once again snatching defeat from the jaws of victory enabling the jets to win in OT. Never before in the history of professional sports has a team consistenly & predictably underperformed week after week and find ways to lose the most meaningless games to totally unworthy opponents as the giants. I really & truly have trouble (or ‘issues’ as a long-lost therapist once was so fond of saying) telling ANYONE I am a giant fan. I FOLLOW them until I need a bag to barf in.

Coffee this morning. Hot & black. Very early & I need to get jacked & buzzing for this day and before it starts to unfold.

There is going to be a show in McK highlighting the use of wood as an artistic medium. I spoke to the main organizer at length & we have already exchanged email & contact info for the one day event 7 May. Highlight will be educational to help kids get started working with wood. Very cool.

The McKinney Creative Community is looking for another venue for a larger, high dollar show to showcase art & artists, mostly painters & paintings. Yours truly got the Action Item to contact Mitas Hill winery for preliminary information to hold the event there. I haven’t seen Harold in a while & the Holidays is a perfect time to reach out and stay in touch. This looks like a 'win-win' WAITING to happen. Your correspondent is he pivot PERSON.

So you see, things are popping here like corn. Things are flying all over the place.
