XXX.2 December 2015

Where to begin … AGAIN … Local weather conditions sees the recent rain & violent pressure front passed harmlessly thru McK but causing some damage & even death in the region.

I am up early and chomping at the bit. A long list of activities to address this day is organized & prioritized according to a time line. Calls to TXU, Home Depot, Joann’s & American Express travel each must wait until those respective businesses open. In the mean time, collect phone numbers as well as domestic chores.

I have had some breakfast. Hot tea this morning as it is chilly inside. Inside temperatures, all metric, 16 upstairs, 15 down. I am feeding a fire in the fireplace working, making calls, rough carving out some signs.

Last night, I took a very hot bath before bed & was chilled most of the night. Even under the Siberian comforter, another blanket was needed. Which I had so no prob.

Some planning for Mexico 6 16 has been accomplished. AmEx travel had some good news & I set up a map for sites to hit & places to go across the Yucatan marked in blue. Patty has the exact same xerox map with her preferences to be marked in red. Next meeting we will compare maps & use green marker(s) will be the consensus for tentative itinerary. This is working very well thus far.

I have been cruzing the internet.

WHAT ?

You heard me correctly. Bill DOES NOT ‘surf’ the internet. Always with a PURPOSE seeking knowledge. Located two killer articles serendipitiously.

One, ‘Four (4) things cable companies HATE & don’t want you (ME) to (even) know about’ and an ex-cia chief’s plan for busting isis. Pleasure reading later.

I will share some of this for a small fee outside the inner circle.

Speaking of inner circle, received a crypto from Emma with brief inquiry of my well-being. Weather reports are global and her Fam here was her cause for cocern PLUS yours truly being off the grid for a spell in observance of Christain Holidays.

I am OK Emma. Alive & well just hunkering down & laying low.

WHAT ABOUT CHRISTMAS ? YOU’RE DODGING … ARTFUL DODGER ...

I got to go. I am trying to track down a programmable sewing machine that connects to a laptop to generate additional revenue and encountering consistent problems. Very frustrating. I KNOW the brand, model number & even the process. A ‘special offer’ is good until 31/12/15 so I have a few days. I have to locate someone that has an inventory so I can get a hands on demo, ax questions etc. I am a very touchy/feely kind of person whenever I purchase something new.

The fire wood is such crap it burns like paper and the fire requires close attention. And throws out very little heat.

Carving, research on Mexican sites, WOW. And YOU want to know about Christmas ?

It is now ancient history.

On top of ALL that, FB, S2 & NGFB are rumored to be headed this direction on like Wednesday for a brief visit & NYE. You KNOW what that means. I MUST get this place tidied up & ship shape or she starts looking for assisted living for you-know-who.

That is NOT going to happen. MUST do some house CLEANING.

Maybe next time I’ll be really low on material & be able to fill in the Nation on Christmas gaps.

Oh, from the world of Sports passing.

Former Red Sox player Dave Henderson, at 57 of massive heart event. Hendu was card-carrying hero & thus a certified legend for performance in the deciding game of the 1986 ALCS when he hit a game-tying, two-run home run in the ninth inning, with TWO (2) strikes no less, and won it in the 11th with a SAC fly. This is aptly refered to as snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.

The Sox go on to the World Series & lost a heartbreaker to Mets from NY when a slow ground ball down the first base line made it thru Bowlegged Bill Buckner’s legs playing first base allowing the Mets to rally & win.

I think this is the last great Red Sox heart breaking moment. So close. Years later (?) they finally won TWO (2) WS and I know for a fact a number of True Fans were rewarded for their loyalty and died happy.

Gots to dash. More later.
