XXX.5 LAST December 2015

Twelve-thirty today. ALL day. Question is AM or PM? The year 2015 winding down fast now & I have a burning question.

While searching thru my freezer, I discovered some black-eyed peas form 2015. OK.

I was going to buy some & cook them as I have in the past for ‘good luck’. My question becomes will 2015 bep’s still have the ‘magic’ of good luck OR should I just toss them & get new ones for 2016 with the idea being that the fresh ones will have better luck. Clearly the 2015 version was over cooked and did not have the desired or intended result.

SO WHAT’S THE PLAN FOR NYE ?

Nada. I bought a bottle of champagne I found at K-Roget on the bottom shelf. Four.99. Such a deal.

Virginia texted she wanted to jet off somwhere, I think she said LA. yahoo.headlines had a story 'Worst Places to Celebrate NYE.' I DID NOT read it but highlighted NY & LA in blue hypertext.

Patty bought a ticket to the Grateful Dead NYE concert in LA so I hooked the two of them up for only a 10% finders fee. From each.

I saw a commercial for a new show on the History channel. Smartest Guy in the Room. No question here at the cloud. Yours truly wins hands down. EVERY DAY.

So I should be watching the Winter Classic hockey game at noon 1-1-16. Eat black-eyed-peas. I have five (5) scary movies to watch before Saturday. Stay warm.

FB & FBNG are scheduled to stop around for a visit. I bought a ten (10) pound bag of potatoes that the plan is to make pancakes when they start to show signs of sprouting & freeze them as ‘hash browns’ paddies. Guess what? Little eyes are showing up. Perfect timing.

The next batch of sauerkraut is ready.

Rest, relax & work on signage. I got a cool idea for next years Christmas card, gift or present.

I have plenty to do as always. Projects galore.

Big wildfires there. She included pictures of the devastation one of which makes it as todays image .

Seems it is already 2016 there Down Unda and moving THIS way.

She read & commented on the Dying Breed movie review citing as a witness to the Tazmanian devil. I am assuming the devil & tiger are the same beast.

So this is it for 2015. The sun is shining, I am patiently waiting for visitors having done final floor sweeps but after this last cup of coffee, I am going to begin the messy process of the potato pancakes.

You might call them lattkes or kartoffelphannkuchen.

HEY, WHAT ABOUT CHRISTMAS ? YOU PROMISED …

Maybe it will be free here at a later date or maybe you will just have to wait & purchase the book.

Perhaps if I EVER run out of or even run LOW on material, I’ll post it. A word of advice, don’t hold your breath.
