Up early this day & I don’t know why.

Material is thin today so if I get right to it, this will be a short report.

The depths of winter continue which shouldn’t be a huge surprize to anyone. I have Ike Reilly going in the background. I tried to run the sound signal thru the high-end, big dollar ‘blu-tooth’ over-rated POS smart speaker system’ and the gd things was being temperMENTAL so I said fine. Pulled out the cable plug. And Ike is playing thru the computer only. And you know what ? I HEAR it, it sounds fine & screw the fancy technology. I can't tell the diff frankly.

I like Ike. My Best of Ike … So Far playlist are all songs that I wish I wrote or COULD have written with a fast, quick & bouncey delivery. If Ike’s music was a meal, it would have all the food groups. You have to listen to the lyrics which are funny and the melody & intruments empower the story.

I am now convinced another book is in order & on the horizon when I get the time. The title will be Lost Arts. Chapter titles will be such things as letter writing, venting, gifts: giving & receiving, fire building, conversation & discourse, manners and a Preface/Intro dissertation How these Arts WERE lost. Look for rips on the media in general, social media, personal hygiene, ambition (lack of aka lassitude).

Received in overnight post from Oz. Emma checked in speaking of the Lost Aer of Letter writing, It was already Friday there so she gave me a ‘heads up’ the weekend was coming.

We have a research project underway. The project is an independent study on prayer. Data is still coming in but we are finding roughly a 40% success rate but be reminded this number will grow with a very high confidence factor. A fascinating study with more to follow.

And speaking of ignition & things explosive, Patty came over last night, provided spark & touched off the powder keg. Talk about knock-down/drag out. Holy Cow. There were glasses, cast iron skillets, books you-name-it scattered in a HUGE debris field. Almost sent her home twice for behavior and her own safety.

We FINALLY agreed this was completely & totally Off-Limits and would not be discussed. At all. In the future. Needless to say we are in COMPLETE DISAGREEMENT with the current state as well as recent past & what, where & who the next Fearless Leader of the 'FREE WORLD' should be.

I’d better stop now as she threatened to stop reading this vehicle. I reminded her POLITELY her pledge was still outstanding & my feelings would not be impacted. Just like if Flush Limberg lost a listener. So … what ?

Other than that, hunker down. Fire in the fireplace. Watch games. Hockey first then the boring American football for/with Patty. Make sure she keeps her emotions in check to a low, slow boil.

Finished the second book by K Mitnick & now reading the first. Chronologically out of order but oh well. I am now under the impression this one will be better than the second which I read FIRST.
