Five 16 16
OK card sharks, a pair of 16’s. So here we are, on a Monday morning and the Orange box schedule presents a new adventure. Three (3) nights this week, I CLOSE. That’s right, 7 to 11 PM.
WHICH NIGHTS SO WE CAN ROB YOU BLIND & YOUR HOUSE OF ALL THE VALUABLES ?
Nice try. I don’t know which of the x’s you are, but YOU should know by now I have NO VALUABLES.
Besides, I am TOO SMART to issue such an open invitation. Dumbass.
As stated, this is an early Monday morning report. Gray, dark as in overcast and very still. Cool, like it wants to rain but who knows ? WHO CARES ?? This is just like summer in NY. One vacation when the fam was young we motored up & it was like this the entire two (2) weeks.
Lovely.
I have laundry going in what seems to be like AGAIN. Second time this week but not.
Now under Old News, the hockey season is over. Our Stars bowed out to the Blues in round II. Now in the process of picking a new favorite team to win the Cup. I do have a Blues shirt from the game FB & I attended a few years back. Not keen on SJSharks.
Tampa Bay gets the nod. I got a Bolt shirt during last seasons run and like C Steven Stamkos & a few other players. Again, NOT a big Sid Pittsburgh fan but I do know a lot of good peeps from there. So, Blues v Bolts to advance & play for Lord Stanley's Cup.
Adjusting to the newest schedule twist, I am up early but will nap later in the afternoon. I will get necessary planned activities in, done & completed which includes some sort of image.
That would include a vigorous bike ride. I rode last Friday, that was 13, and only skilled riding & being 110% alert kept me from being killed 5-6 times. I picked the WRONG hour to start with.
People heading out & going to work was VERY dangerous. Today I will wait a little longer so it can warm up OR wear sweats & a hoodie.
Art project work today. I got things out & arranged last night. Patty came over & we had a little BBQ & light meal. Spa time, cocktails, tunes & popcorn later.
My buddy Lars checked in. He discovered a NYTimes article on the red knot. This is a shorebird & NOT a description of a Russian or Chinese political debate.
So today’s image is a red knot. Full info on (Calidris canutus)
The male behind & above is in the much more striking breeding plumage and from the attitude & postures exhibited I would say that he has something on his mind. Just saying ... BREEDING plumage. That's as far as we dare go here on this family-oriented site during prime time.
After hours, password protective ... who knows ?
Lars claims to be a sausage maker so today I need to see if I can procure a wild boar. I am going to use a telephone in lieu of a high-powered rifle & telescopic site. Looking for a small to medium size to make mostly all sausage of different types.
Emma did check in from Down Unda. It seems weather patterns there are acting erratically as well. She felt terrible about using the British units ‘inches & pounds’ v things metric. She was forgiven. Images of a massive tree with storm damage were received with progressive shots to completion.
Must contact Leon too about a custom canvas frame to do a painting. I am in need of 12 x 48 inch black canvas frame to finish a continuation of the regenerating neuron.
WHAT A MINUTE … DID YOU USE INCHES ?
Unfortunately yes. This is a long story but those are the units of an existing white plastic frame that is critical to the design & presentation of the work so yes, in a RARE exception you see inches used here. Good catch once again Emma.
Then there is some job search/job hunting.
Next Tuesday I meet with Representative Sanford regarding election reforms. Then off & over to Fort Worth & the Colonial cavorting with my peeps out west.
Things are heating up & getting GOOD.
Two toots from the cloud.
