COLONIAL DAY IV: Sunday
Once again, thunder and rain at 4:29 AM served Mother Nature as a wake up call. No notification of a delay(s) as yet so taking advantage with packing, checking out & getting ready to head to the course.
As has been the practice in the past, a final summary will be issued & posted after play in a tournament wrap up.
That said, the unknowns loom large and hopefully the event gets done with the turn in the weather or should I say return of the inclement weather. I can hardly wait until I get back to the friendly confines of the cloud later today or to re-establish camp there for the night. It seems this room has a new thermostat that cannot be turned off and it hums constantly. I think it is starting to drive me a little nuts. And the room has been too cold over the past five (5) days.
But I digress.
Refer to yesterdays entry for today's group pairing. But hold it. Just in … delay, shuffling of start times and threesomes today, NOT the customary twosomes for a Sunday. Must finish today and the tv audience certainly does factor in.
The local weather report on telly is questionable. The weather app is off the stupid phone so I am going about business & affairs as in the ‘dark ages’ before such ‘technology advances.’
What did we do before such things ? How did we survive? Could society or mankind in general now carry on without such things ? IDTS (NEW … I Don’t Think So).
Image later.
So I won’t know the group until I get to the course and the time has shifted.
YOU now know as much as I do.
Check out time is 11:00 so I need to load Silver for the return trip home.
Final wrap up next.
