6 – 26 – 16 BEWARE …
Beware this day for the pattern could be ominous. Does anyone else see the mark of the devil disguised or camouflaged here in this day/date pattern or is it just me? Again.
IMHO, it is not a bad idea to sit every now & then and reflect, let the humans race by to whereever they go that is so important.
Today is Sunday so Mass was early. It was terrific & wonderful as always. But you have to open your eyes to see it all.
The image today is taken from my phone cam.
This hot air balloon had taken flight & I saw the photo developing as it was going to pass directly in front of the rising sun. But I was in my car, driving to church and traffic was not cooperating. I attempted a couple wild shots but had to wait until parking at Saint Michael’s before getting this one and then a tiny crop job to fini.
I hope you like it but really don't care if you don't.
The balloon moved out of the range or vision field I was optimized on & can be seen juxtaposed just to the right of the bell tower. Saint Michael's lower left, the sun brilliant front & center.
Father James is leaving. I think I mentioned that. Very sad but good for him. He wasn’t here for a year before getting the call up.
Last night Walt & his bride Maggie were entertained by Virginia & yours truly. We bombed when pictures of the trip to Mexico would not be managed either to the big screen telly OR even on the smaller laptop monitor. It just wasn’t the same. We needed a teenager to figure it out.
On the up side, Maggie ordered a greater than life size peppermint angelfish for a Christmas gift. She has such class AND good taste granting me artistic license on the base.
We did have a very nice meal & evening talking and are sure to do it again. Walt & I made a Plan for adventure to pick more bluets Wednesday morning.
We are rapidly running out of June. This is the LAST Sunday & I downloaded Something Big by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers strictly for the lyrics. Sad to see June go by SOOO fast and can’t (hardly) wait for it to come back around again. But that’s the cycle.
What else ?
Nada.
Much to do, not enough time. See last entry. The list hasn't changed much.
WS out.
