An evening entry this day so a rare recap of activities on a numerically significant day. How does National Convenient store day sound for a Federal Holiday ? The FIRST Monday after July 4 (OR 1 July) everyone,

EVERYONE will have this new Summer holiday off.

Look for more such Holidays on the calendar according to Bill as we look for idiotic things to celebrate. Just stay tuned & details WILL BE revealed.

Received a report from Emma Down Unda. She took a fall and is badly bruised on the right side. Wrist, shoulder & hip. The colors she described sound like she got checked into the boards on the right side. You have to see the colors the body & bruises produces to truly appreciate the magnificent nature of the human body and the healing process.

Today I worked from 7:45 in a rare time when ’normal’ people are going to work. I was thinking my workday would end at 3:45 but when I checked during the day, I found I was scheduled to leave at 1:45 so happy dancing began.

Afterwards, in the afternoon, I did a training ride for heat acclimation. The wind was brutal & relentless and I nearly turned around. But I got it done and survived. This was three (3) consecutive days with rides of one (1) hour so endurance is getting better. The next ramp up day/date is August 1 with regular rides lengthening to 2+ hours until race day.

I cashed a check today with a little incident at Chase bank. I sold a decoy at the second Saturday art show & sale at Tupps which was a nice surprise. The Indian (Asian) teller gouged my an $8 fee since I didn’t have an account there. I was FUMING. A FEE to cash a check at THAT bank.

So now Chase is on my Black list of turd organizations to be avoided at all costs, slam & slander whenever the opportunity presents itself.

That’s it. Off tomorrow & Wednesday. Taking Walt to DFW tomorrow, stop at the range for a tune-up for golf league play Wednesday night. Then back home to work on the Blue winged teal (Bwt).

I sent the client a Thank you note promising delivery ‘within two (2) weeks OR sooner.’

Must finish the Bwt as more fish & bird cut-outs are in the mail. In advance of the next Tupps show again in August with hopes of more sales.

Looking ahead at the dog days of summer, more wood working/carving so expect modest to moderate delays in July reports unless and/or until a monsterous event or numerical day/date worth OR a new Holiday is nominated.
