7:11 AM. Live coverage of the British Open being enjoyed early this morning. Paying some bills, financial planning & final detail work on the bwt prior to sealing & painting.

A brief account right now as I am ‘on break’.

Numerical pair for this days significance. I missed an attempt yesterday but you can still get the Ides of Julio for a mere $5K from the secure, password-protected Platinum side of the house.

The cell phone was ‘fixed’ at no charge but what I price I paid. I was given a ‘heads-up’ & backed up photos, contacts, etc no problem HOWEVER I did NOT bargain for losing Amazon music (think playlists), andora, the dictionary (which I THINK is no longer ‘free’), the unit conversion tool, language translator & I am still discovering MORE crap (think apps) GONE. They wiped everything clean & out to install new OS (operating system).

ON TOP OF THAT, all the 'defaults' were RE-installed. Things I will never, EVER use. This morning the FIRST thing to come off was effing flipbook. I DO NOT NEED, use or care about flipbook. Flip this. Just like facebook. NO !!

Yes, in a word, it s**cks as I simply do not have the time to replace all that nor the determination, drive and inclination to accomplish these tasks right now. So there.

British Open coverage was FAR better earlier on the Golf channel.

Now on US network NBC with colorless analyst johnny miller, far too many commercials and just plain drivel as they cater to a clueless & mindless audience dumbed down considerably for exclusively & primarily the unannointed AND to sell commercials. Booze, drugs (OK, ‘meds’), insurance and assorted garbage THEY think you NEED. SO WRONG.

The bwt fell behind schedule a bit last night. I wanted to be able to begin painting it today, this morning but stopped when I kept dozing off burning in feathers. I wasn’t feeling comfortable ‘rushing’ it and glad I made that call as this morning in the better light and much more rested & relaxed, with the white background noise, progress is much more easily measured and noticeable.

After work/work today and into this evening hours should get me on track for applying paint Sunday under similar circumstances & conditions.

This may force the bike ride off the dance card the day. I could use a rest or at least a short break. I think it is going on 10-14 days straight for training & acclimation rides so it's OK. But perhaps not.

In a Victory to report, I FIXED the overheating issue with my laptop to my pure DELIGHT.

I forced some compressed air into the vents and saw a visible ‘cloud’ of dust come out. It has not overheated since. Air FIXED my computer.

I should have tried that with the phone.

Next, the upstairs AC went on the blink. Repair estimate received yesterday and unbudgeted expense is being analyzed wrt budget funding by the Finance Department.

So it goes.
