Monday, Monday … so good to me. WHEN ??

I awoke with first thoughts this morning of once again ‘doing battle’ with life.

Fumbling, stumbling and coming to the realization this was NOT the ATTITUDE to go forth with, I mentally retooled that attitude.

Instead, the near-term objective(s) became ‘what are the most important challenges I must address this day ?’ I shall call these NTOs. Kind of like ‘goals’ but too many connotations & other meanings to ‘goals’. Like he scored the game-winning-goal ...

The weekend went well thanks for axing. Let's go with that & see what kind of traction we get & trajectory develops shall we ?

The bwt is progressing and should be fini Wednesday or Thursday. Big painting days either today, tomorrow OR Wednesday. Keeping some ‘flex’ in the schedule to avoid unnecessary stress. I know I have copied the bwt painting instructions from one of Cal’s books but haven’t found them yet. I could pay Cal a visit and should stop out & see him as it has been a while & I have another project I could do there but I need to see if & how long it is going to take to find the painting instructions. I mean I copied them for just this reason to not have to go bug Cal.

Emma checked in from Oz. Her medical issues from recent fall appear to be progressing so keep the prayers coming. She axed vas heist Tupps ?

For late arrivals or forgetters, Tupps is local micro or craft brewery home-based here in McK. A lovely spot and every month on the second Saturday they have an art show for local artists to share, show & most importantly sell (try to) their work.

It is free, so think win-win when people get alcohol and start impulse buying. After a couple of down months in the colder part of the year, the reemergence of yours truly was a qualified success in July with the sale of the blue winged teal. So much so that the August show is now being ‘much anticipated’.

I am also most anxious to start the new tropical fish but cannot work on ANYTHING else until the BWT is delivered or at least completed.

The British Open is settled. Congrats to Henrik Stennson and even Phil M for a tremendous show. Both played well & both have signatures on my 2008 Ryder Cup flag so how cool is that ?

Stretched out the conditioning bike ride on Saturday or Sunday. Not sure which right now but I did ride both days. Probably longer on Sunday. It was nice. No (expletive) wind, light traffic & the coolest part of the day. Over an hour, and over 25 Km so good & good.

FB & S1 have both been ‘training’. Last night S1 came over to watch the baseball game. The Hated Yankees edged the flat Red Sox 3-1.

Va checked in from MN. With the work schedule for the weekend we have not connected to actually ‘talk’. But that’s OK.

Speaking of technology, the phone is ‘fixed’ but so hosed I want to throw it as far as I can. Maybe even get a LAN line. I am thinking and working on a theory that this 'technology' is an alien conspiracy. Not fully developed as yet but rest assured I will share when I have some proof if they don't erase me first.

WHAT HAPPENED NOW ?

The Samsung Service Center in Plano installed a new operating system and wiped clean the old one. Most everything looks different on the screens, settings mostly all have to be reset. The calendar was lost with all the work schedule & other events. A Royal PIA which BTW I DO NOT need.

The good news is the computer has not overheated once so a good blast (think ‘wind’) of air cleared up THAT issue.

It’s just frustrating and dwelling on the constant frustrations could lead to a serious downright bout of depression.

In lesser people made of much less-sterner stuff. Sorry Mom. I should say 'Made of less stiffer MATERIAL.' She hates it when I say ‘stuff’.
