On the new calendar according to Bill, there will be a optional free floating Holiday that one can get off, with pay, but some rules will apply.

WHAT ?

You heard me. First, you will have to ‘declare’ your day of conception in order to get the day off, with pay aka Full Benefits.

HOW DOES IT WORK ?

Good question and yes, I was anticipating it.

This becomes an application science challenge versus an application math problem. Simply count nine (9) months back from your birthday and you get that day off.

For example, if one’s birthday is 3 August, their observance once declared would be 3 November WHEN IF FALLS ON A WEEK DAY. Weekend observances are not permitted as the weekend takes precedence and dia de la concepcion WILL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES be a disgusting floating ‘Monday holiday’.

Unless of course it happens to fall on a Monday.

In rare cases, this one example may conflict with a Federal Holiday (election day), ALL Federal, National, state or local observance supersede & trump the individuals dia de la concepcion. In other words, it is perhaps the lowest Holiday or observance but none the less we need more reasons to celebrate with days off so any way there you have it.

Using my case first, 18 June, my dia de la concepcion falls on a Sunday. OK. This year for me it's tough sh*t. I can celebrate but I do not expect others to line up & join the parade. I can have a celebratory cocktail or plurals however a cake or a larger partey would be gauche.

A conflict with Sunday just forget about it. I’ll wait until next year. If you are an adult, ACT like one.

BUT THE DAY ISN'T ALWAYS EXACT.

Stop whining. It will be close enough because everyone will take the SAME number just the same.

It’s simply a rule and of course EVERYONE knows these things don’t always work like clockwork but in order to OBSERVE the Holiday, you put up, play by the few simple rules and you get a free DAY off pass.

You want to be a jerk, than simply KEEP WORKING. Don't declare. Moron. You’re looking at a FREE day off. If you are an adult, ACT like one.

So today the Frustration cup ran over.

I fought & lost a running credit card battle aka dispute for the rental car in Mexico. Over DOUBLE the price what I was quoted on the estimate. Visa cannot hold a candle to American Express when it comes to dispute resolution. Dollar Car Rental is now OFFICIALLY on my Black list.

The day before, I lost a questionable appeal fighting a red light camera citaion during a visit to North Richland Hills in April. Another $75 I didn’t budget for.

Big Brother is here, profiteering with scummy little towns like NRH. Pukes.

I went for a bike ride in the afternoon and after one (1) lap, it started to rain.

It was just not my day. I can attribute it to biorhythms and the ‘interference patterns’ generated by the three (3) continuous running sinusoidal waves. I can handle it.

The two (2) outings at Cabela’s were a bust for sales. So far. One small sale from a reliable Patron of the Arts.

Lots of interest & nibbles. The next show or sale is Tupps in October and then the BIG one, MAST in November.
