24 September 2016

Bill here. Up early, fully charged and stalled. Must report AND work from 9:30 am until 3:30 and with the seasonal change, ‘up early’ means ‘in the dark.’

Out of the question is the bike ride or larger outdoor activity(ies). I can water the hangers & do a walk about but that’s about it. It is cooling off which is pleasant and at 3:30 daylight will allow for some sort of activity.

Not sure yet if Mass is this afternoon or tomorrow morning. Hours at THD are increasing again after bottoming out in a drastic fashion. When I axed about dropping hours, I was informed that we were 'between seasons' and things would be picking up again for the Holidays.

The house is shaping up. I am looking ahead to MAST with layouts, floor plan & traffic flow considerations. Also working on ‘smalls’. Artsy-fartsy items I can offer for sale at, around or under the $20 mark. I am speaking of note cards, posters & coasters as well as crosses. Bigger ticket items start at shorebirds, tropical fish and or course the decoys & paintings which would represent ‘home runs’.

The McKinney Oktoberfest is running downtown this entire weekend. I MAY miss it entirely but so what ? Who cares. I am leaning towards larger fish to poach, sautee or steam.

I may take some wild boar sausage out of the deep freeze to thaw. Take THAT Chamber of Commerce.

OK. Got to go.

Enough for now. Kind of scattered & mild I know but just can’t focus at the moment with work, weather and such just ahead.

For the second straight entry, TOTALLY CHALLENGED to include a suitable image.

aloha/cheers/chow

PS: Here is a late image for insertion. This is the front of one of the new notecards. A pack of 8 cards w/ envelopes for $10. From Rio Lagartos, MX 2016.
