Eight-teen october 2016
Bless me Fans for it is been over a week since my last report. Actually, there was one in the can I started, had intended to get back to, but failed so I decided to just file it UNPUBLISHED and move forward.
You are all very lucky today is 18. My newer lucky number. Or there would be nada today.
Briefly scanning the headlines … Clinton on drugs, Trump coerced into guy locker room talk, ufo expert dies in Poland on a sofa after vomiting a black liquid, Saddam Hussein (still news worthy apparently) had a torture chamber in NYC. Take your longest finger, usually ones social finger, and see how far it goes down your throat. A prize to the first person that can reach their stomach.
So today is a ‘full off’ day from the orange box aka THD. But a full day anyway. Up early and a most pleasant surprise from Down Unda. A brief report from Emma. Actually, they stacked up in the lengthy delay on my end. Weather has been ‘unseasonal’ there. Sounds more like Fall & s/b Spring.
They are prepping for drought & dry season of summer. Emma reports that the price of pumpkins is outrageous there. Ozzie dollars per KILOGRAM !! Talk about highway robbery.
Lots of little stuff going on & to do this day. Up early to seize all this ‘free time’ and milk it. At 9:00 am I am going to help Cal’s Mrs with a small project. I HOPE it is small anyway.
Many letters to write & battles to fight. I need a better job for one.
Today’s image is the red knot (Calidris canutus) completed last night for the MAST fund raising auction.
Very pleased with the result. I was axing myself what had I undertaken multiple times. I mean I could have selected an easier species to paint. But perseverance as an arteest does pay off as image attests.
One simply just cannot give up or quit until the project, piece or work makes, meets or exceeds ones standards or expectations.
Must dash.
Thanks Emma again for the report. I hope that all those thingys that broke get fixed and things get back to ‘normal’ on all fronts. Remember the bad times are short and they shall pass.
Toodles from the cloud.
