This date just slips & slides off the tongue and the way I have it written takes the amusement to another level. On top of all that, it is FRIDAY Phans !!

Since last reporting I received communications from Emma Down Unda. Seems upon further review, things are pretty much the same there as in the US of A. Things break, repairs are costly, lengthy & mostly painful and the inconveniences mount exponentially.

That said, I am up early this day with a full report, an image, excitement & enthusiasm.

VOTED

Yesterday I voted. I tried something new. No surprises whom I voted for but only three (3) candidates. The top dog, Sam Johnson for Congress (district rep) and my buddy Scott (William) Sandford (state rep). Period. Submit. Done.

My campaign (read personal ‘war’) against the judicial branch began in earnest. I didn’t ‘vote’ for any of them. Especially if I saw numerous obnoxious signs AND they were running UNOPPOSED. WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT Rampart. Start the D-5W with Ringers lactate ... and get a pulse & BP. stat.

Nix as well to the ‘railroad commissioner’. Way, WAY too many rodeo clowns on the ballet and I have much more important things to do.

Not just yesterday but today thanks for axing Larry from Long Island. Say Larry, is there or WHERE is Short Island ?

Today AND tomorrow, FULL Days off from THD. Momma mia. Look out. Revved up, rollin' & rockin' at the cloud scape. NO NET !!

Right away, before light, work on Dukes. I experimented with a brand new texturing technique for sand on the beach in the foreground. I have been working on development for a week or two and today I want to finish the sand on the beach which s/b spectacular. When the sand is completed, all left will be the plant groupings in the extreme foreground then slap on the price tag & hang OR hang first THEN slap on the price tag.

Hey, but let’s be frank shall we? The price is already set. For six K, $6000, The View from Dukes can hang in YOUR den, wine cellar, man-cave or veranda. It really doesn't matter to me where YOU hang it. Really.

Golf today in preparation for Colonial outing. Yesterday received annual go ahead from local CC Stonebridge Ranch to use facilities to sharpen up & fine tune my game. Certainly looking forward to that as weather conditions are in a word … sweet.

Squeeze in some yard work such as light landscaping. The hanging jardin yielded a simply super young green leaf salad last night. Va stopped around for supper and it was a repeat with the pesto this time over potatoes in lieu of pasta and wild boar sausage. Paired with an Italian chianti over the top crazy good.

I would like to go for a two (2) hour bike ride but the time is a crunch. That should be done earlier than later in the day while all of the zombies are either at work or in school and traffic a mini mum.

Also yesterday I picked up a load of wood from Randy’s. Randy is a McK craftsman that makes custom furniture, built-in book shelves & such. We first encountered at HD and he started saving & giving me his scrap cut-off pieces. Some of the pieces are exotics like West African mahogany, cherry not so much but there are lots of others. Some are too small & will end up as fire fuel in the chimenia or fireplace.

Also yesterday after work I phoned Bat Conservation dot org. I found a bat house in the garage I have been lugging it around & need to put it up. They eat skeeters don’t you know.

I quizzed ‘Dawn’, NOT Don (sounded the same when she said it) for over twenty minutes with a running Q & A on the flying mammals. I mean I could AMAZE readership with new found interesting ‘factoids’. But won’t.

The job board this morning has a tasty position posted local in McK I need to jump on & apply for. Not sure if it would be nice to go back to work or not. It just might impact my life-style, routines & schedule. Top that with the workplace 'politics', back-stabbers, cheaters & liars, maybe not so much.

That all said, I must truly dash.
