WHAT A GREAT DAY !! Election results are in and we have a new president. My Faith is restored in the American people. They have made the right & correct decision. Another disasterous ‘first’ was avoided and the future once again looks bright.

I mean today was a GREAT DAY. I can honestly say that I have not been happier since the birth of my two children finding out they were intact & healthy. And I got happier as the day went on.

America was headed down the shitter with any other outcome. You heard me. Down the tubes.

I spoke to a number of people at work on Tuesday (election day) and was able to talk about voting & the election. I was flabbergasted, impressed & shocked at the number of people that spoke from the heart that they were PRAYING for this outcome. Eyeball to eyeball, from the bottom of their hearts that they were scared at any other outcome.

I spoke to one person I knew that voted for the the losing ticket. I axed them if they knew anything about clinton vp kaine. ‘Nothing.’

Clueless. Along with clinton, kaine did as much or more to promote & improve the muslim position & organization in the US with ‘foundation’ contributions or IOW money laundering. She was sleeping with EVERYBODY taking money. There is a word for that and it goes beyond shameless. This tide should be turning for the better & soon. I see the stock market shot up today so the markets are paying attention.

I am thinking we should move in the inauguration to 20 November to have something to really be thankful for sooner than later.

So today was the volunteer outing at Colonial CC over in Fort Worth. Because of the heavy rain, motor carts were not allowed and players had to walk. This was so cool. I hadn’t walked in 15-20 YEARS and it was GREAT. We had a blast. The other three (3) players took the pull carts supplied by CCC but I carried my clubs just like when I was a kid. AND finished.

Todays image is Br18 walking up the 18th at CCC.

SO HOW DID YOU PLAY ?

Well, today that is an essay question. On the first tee, first hole, the first shot, I NAILED it. Just like in the recurring dream. Perfect tee shot, slight draw, solid, smooth, right down the middle just off center of the first fairway. Felt good, looked good & I could have quit then & there and been happy.

There were a few great shots, some good shots & unfortunately too many clunkers. I just don’t play enough anymore to get too serious about it. Pars were rare, bogeys & dubbs, OMG. Tee shots were for the most part stellar and I putted pretty well overall. It was what was in between that was stinko.

The group was good & we had great fun. Rick had had a stroke & I would have guessed that had he not told us. He had slurred speech which speaks to the part of his brain that might have been damaged by the stroke.

Keith had a lot of problems. He had a lot of clunkers & deserved pity. Marty also had many problems but he was a little more realistic about it. He was a click or two short of just plain sucking.

Order of finish would have been Rick, me with Keith & Marty tossing a coin.

The weather held off until #16 when the mist got just too heavy. I made a great par on 16 and we finished in the heavy mist.

I stopped in that cesspool NRH and called on Martha for a visit. She was in fine spirits. I showed her the photos from Mexico in June, we talked politics in depth and she played a Gershwin prelude and some C & W Hank Williams on the piano. She can really tickle those ivories.

That’s it.

A fabulous day overall.

The alarm is set for 4:30 AM and at 2:30 I can start gearing up full bore up to, until and thru MAST Saturday & Sunday.

Hang on as the ride is going to get wild here real quick.

I will be off the grid here now for a few days.

Do not be alarmed.

Repeat, do NOT be alarmed.

WS/out
