Seriously CHAPPED this day Phans. Why you ax ? Well, due to my work schedule, I am beginning to accumulate far too many lost opportunities. Now with a Holiday looming, Black Friday at THD, I mean exactly how much is one designed to take or even tolerate ?

For example, I started a report dtd 11/22 and it was so packed with excellent material, I MUST make an exception, go back, complete and post it. I mean YOU as a paid subscriber should be exposed to such an outstanding effort. Isn’t that what you have come to expect here ? Why you continue to return and send in those huge checks ?

AND 9 November was also 9/11. How about that ? Just a little crypto-conspiracy theory for the calendar according to Bill.

Working a FULL eight (8 or ate) this day but will start later with a slightly later shift end.

All that said, I am at this very moment under squeeze. Time pressure. I ‘slept in’, hot black coffee is divine, did a first walkabout in DAYS inspecting science projects & experiments on & around the back deck, making what no longer are ‘to-do’ lists but more accurately described as ‘wish lists’.

So I’ll cut this off here now and for the moment with every intention to pick it up and finish a couple of detailed entries while the turkey is cooking tomorrow morning. No image yet but again, standby for brilliance.

He's BAAAAACK !

Well work was ok when it wasn't sucking. I was only stumped once which was good and turned many customers around & towards the door quickly, happily & satisfied. It's all part of the Orange Challenge (think programming & mantra) of convenience & VALUE.

Getting ready for the HUGE Black Friday event and it is shaping up to be a nightmare.

There are large black plastic-wrapped piles of merchandise in the aisles blocking customer traffic flow & making reaching the overheads with the various ladders near to impossible. Another mantra ... such is life.

Off tomorrow AND Holiday pay but only four (4) hours worth. BFD I am thinking. Another reason NOT to THINK or certainly overthink this temporary 'career' move.

And I am not even really off. I need to be up early to start the turkey, only a few sides this year as mentioned and work projects. Making small & slow progress on Dukes, must restart the next goose for the Tupp's show, the lined butterfly which is sold & a Christmas gift plus some others probably.

I got a couple of not-so-surprise Christmas gifts for self at THD this week. I have been fond of a particular shape of planter/container for sometime & not finding for backyard jardins. Well, THD actually GOT SOME week before last and I bought all five (5).

Also, two (2) bluetooth speakers that are rad. Very easy AND portable sound paired w/ the phone.

I did an advanced search & I CAN pair the bluetooth/wi-fi with the laptop to expand my listening enjoyment that much further. I mean the cloud is going to be non-stop, 24/7 cool music ALL the time with absolutely NO COMMERCIALS. And with Pandora & Tuned-in not to mention spotify brought to my attention, possibilities are approaching endless.

I MAY go global with the Rad-y-oh station, K-4901. Where else can you hear Hawaiian slack guitar, Johnny Cash, Jett, Willie Nelson, Courtney Barnett, rare & select covers, better B-sides of the Rolling Stones, Ike Reilly, and Chopin all graciously, marvelously & tastefully interspersed ?
