Twelve Twenty-three twenty-sixteen
Running out … of time, days in 2016 and things to do. Well, not so much really number 3 but they are in the forms of deadlines ‘ta-dues’ before shutting down & relaxing for Christmas.
New Years & NYE will just be the following weekend asnd/or so no big deal as far as celebration(s) go. The plan is to reflect on the past year (mistakes) and look ahead & plan for the next upcoming year and either FUTURE mistakes (to avoid) or lessons learned. Kind of like is the glass half-empty or half-full … regardless, drink what’s left.
Christmas cards are trickling in and it is always a delight to get mail. One of those simple pleasures that seem long forgotten. Emails & texts just aren’t the same.
Got a card today from the other side of the planet. Yep. Emma & Sir Ron from Oz checked and will certainly remain on the A-list in good standing for 2017. Their card featured one of those nasty & awful koalas. Makes me shake, shiver & shudder those little fornicators.
Two smashing cards one from former neighbors in Richardson that is spectacular & stunning on multiple levels. I am planning a return note back as this card had a short little note in as well. Old friends do that.
The second was a bit of a surprise, NOT a shock but a very pleasant surprise. Harold & Sue from the local vineyard & winery sent a card that was the height of class, elegante & simple. I may make each card an image here in the coming days to show how impressed I am/was AND these thoughts should be shared here.
That’s it for now. Cannot post as must clean up & dash out. Return & do more work before the zombie’s aka walking dead start cluttering up the streets, stores avenues & byways.

So earlier I was checking the headlines (only) and one caught my eye. From abc news (ALWAYS consider the SOURCE of the ‘news’ story), ‘Clinton wins popular vote by 2.9 million …’. The url to the link & story reads 29 million. Small typo, BIG difference. But the point is that that media, especially ‘big E’ (backwards 3) will spread nothing but as they are the propaganda ‘tool’ of that party. Don’t forget Georgie Steppanoplace was in the clinton regime at one time and those roots not only to him but also by marriage(s) is filthy corrupt. And FINALLY do not EVER forget all they are doing or trying to do is SELL ADD SPACE.
Moving along, BEAUTIFUL night here at the cloud. Stars v LAKings 1-1 at second intermission on the local radio. I am seriously considering pulling the plug on direct (cable) tv. I have accomplished so much more since turning it off & opting for radio it is incredible.
Except tonight.
I cut myself again. A bloody mess and second time in less than a week & I KNOW PPE was in order. That’s Personal Protective Equipment IOW in this case gloves would have prevented this injury again. Note to self ... ALWAYS WEAR THE CLOVES por favor.
This time the thumb of the left hand & a big flap peeled back. Worst case three (3) stitches but I think I got it (the bleeding) stopped in time. Pretty much immobilized now & it helps tremendously knowing how the body works to heal such things. There would be a flap of skin hanging that I am thinking will mend if it is held mobile. We shall see.
Dinner tonight venison fajitas & Makers & Coke. What a GREAT combo.

A very nice Christmas card received late today from my LAST Uncle John. At one time I had three (3) Uncle Johns. Now only one remains. A retired Pa State Trooper for 30 years he informed me.
I recall as a very young youth (?) at my Grandmom’s one time digging in a box under a bed upstairs where we were not supposed to be and finding one of his report cards. All D’s & F’s. Back then I guess it was OK. He got to be a State trooper anyway. They called them ‘round hats’ for the silly hats they had to wear. He did quite well. His note was funny & inspiring. I am still smiling. He was a crazy fart.
Alright. I got to go. Work tomorrow 10:30. Mass at 6:00. Off Sunday.
