FB, S2, S1 and NGFB sending images of a HUGE doll house being assembled near Houston. I would rather have a burning stick shoved in my eye. God Bless them.

Emma checked in from Oz with well-wishes. She sends images of the ugly opossum they finally coerced into a trap for repatriation. Also, today's co-image if all goes well the first go around, shorn (or sheared ?) alpacas from their ranch / herd.

Martha checked in. She was in fine form and great spirits as a 28 minute giggle-fest followed. Her grown son visited and he left so she was alone AND VERY HAPPY with it and about it. We AGREED on that.

Overnight apparently some sort of warm front rolled in. Very windy and leaves from Roger’s oak are blowing like a snow globe into MY cement pond.

It was 18/20 C upstairs and this morning downstairs it has already gotten three (3) degrees (F) WARMER since the first reading. So observations and studies of thermodynamics continue at the cloud even on THEE Holiday.

I say THEE Holiday for as a Christian, God’s birthday is IT. Second is my birthday, followed nearly in order the solstices, God’s death and shortly after (three (3) days) The Resurrection distant all other days of birth followed by dates of deaths or passing and finally just days & dates in general worth recalling in brief. These can be as trivial as bullshit and really know no limits.

I went to Mass yesterday at 6:00 pm in a stroke of luck. My initial Plan was the Children's Mass at 4:00 however THD schedule did not allow for attendance at this time. I was going to press the point WRT a muslim at work being afforded ‘time off’ during the day and a room to ‘pray’. But I just let it go.

We closed early which was an unexpected treat. I got to ‘shoo’ out some clueless customers after 5:00 early closing and LOVED every minute of it. Enough about that. Platinum members got a much more colorful account of the removal. Membership DOES have it’s privvies.

No fire today. In the ‘Mans work is never done department’, the first load of laundry is ready to go fold and make the bed. Clean sheets & night clothes tonight. Always look forward to that first good nights sleep post laundry.

I had Planned and prepped for the traditional Christmas Eve dinner last night but when the time came I just wasn’t feeling it at all. Had fish, potato pancakes (latkees) all set aside & ready (notice no meat) but put them away for until today when they will be good & much more enjoyed or relished.

Last night I ended up just taking out a frozen pizza while enjoying Makers & coke & the Man in the High Castle. Fed the fire and it was just fabulous.

I recalled briefly Christmases past, assembling things where some assembly was required, obnoxious both Family members and friends long, long past. In particular the crazy therapist name now hypenated and living I believe in SC. I say ‘believe’ as I have neither proof nor concern and cannot fully trust the linkedIn ‘social media’ vehicle that reported that bit of intel. Her FOURTH (4th) such trip down the aisle.

And it COULD HAVE BEEN ME !!

Thank you Lord. Seriously.

Last year I was in NM and thanks to technology and the ability to block all such communications, that x is history.

OK. Got to go. This has already been TMI and really & truly I DO have better things to do.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E.marathon is commercial free as will everything and ANYTHING else today.

Should I want to downshift to cartoons, I have Top Cat & Rocky & Bullwinkle dvds available for laughs.

Oh, almost forgot about Get Smart.

I also want to back the car out of the garage and do some light wood working. I say light because my left thumb is healing in the air and looking good as we speak this day and will be watched & guarded for the next 2-3 WEEKS probably.

A little blood has leaked out of the edge but it looks very healthy with no sign of infection. Continuing to soak, during the day, and avoiding stretching so not to reopen or bumping the area. This would be a excruciating, sharp and stabbing pain. One would like to avoid such pain whenever possible.

So at last it is finally over for 2016. Thank you God.
