Twenty-seventeen: The First
We will lose no more celebrities in 2016. This will be an odd year. These from the Profit Will.I.am. There is an entire tablet of clean sheets of paper, new adventures and yes, mistakes and misadventures as well.
I had a slight change of Plan already this year or more accurately this week.
I believe I mentioned I felt I was slipping under the weather in a previous entry. Well, I in fact did.
Reporting to work Sunday (yesterday) at 2:00 pm, it wasn’t long, like 10 minutes, that I realized I was not going to see 10:00 pm there that day. I had some PTO (aka ‘sick’ time) accumulated so this was the time to use it.
I contacted Houston and informed the ground crew there of ‘possible’ change of plan in the morning for the upcoming week & trip. I immediately commenced a restful posture & position and starting with the hot beverages.
It seemed to work as I got up early, there was thunder, lightning & rain and felt slightly more rested but knowing from experience that getting up & out is usually the easy part at first however energy levels quickly drop to the danger zone.
So I got comfortable once again and began reading reaching the 500 page mark. I also must issue a CORRECTION. This book is EXACTLY one thousand (1000) pages so I have passed the half-way point. This Fans is a marathon but still interesting & entertaining. I was thinking back to another large book, The Fatal Shores which got boring, old & stale and an effort to finish. It was all about a record of countless floggings of convicts and flavors thereof.
OK.
I feel well enough to venture on to some other projects like carving and with the sun out, some outdoor activity as well.
But NOT well enough for DRIVING four (4) hours SxSE to Houston. Yet.
Happy New Year.
