26 January: Dual Holiday

Reflecting this evening Fans on a great day just passed. Knee-deep in the pursuit of Happiness and pondering the future, the past and what to do NEXT.

Worked early am to open the orange box but the good news was only four (4) hours and out for the REST OF THE DAY. How do you spell sweet ?

WHICH HOLIDAY SHOULD WE CELEBRATE WHEN THERE IS A ‘CONFLICT’ OGO ?

Emma filed a report from Oz and proclaims the local natives celebrate everything, anything, ALL the time. Today is Australia Day. Look back to last year, this day, and I think the image was the Aussie flag.

OK. Celebrate them both OR even ALL of them. That’s the beautiful thing about celebrating. Just make ANOTHER toast.

In addition to Ozzie day, Happy Birthday to other Great Ones. Wayne Gretzky (99) born this day. FB also celebrating. Little FBNG went to the pre-school program and proudly proclaimed to chums & chumettes that today was her Mommies birthday.

Waiting for the Stars game to hit the radio air waves. This day was very much like the day FB was born. Crisp to cold, but sunny, bright and a clear blue sky. I recall it well. We were living on the Hill in NY at my parents house holding the Fort until they would retire and move back from Va.

I spent the rest of the day doing a little reading. Set the timer for one (1) hour. Page 750 passed before a nap over-ruled & won out.

Did some wood working on my classified project as well as painting. Regenerating neuron.2, tropical fish (5) & a shorebirds. The plan is to paint more on the fish during the game.

I figured out something mega-cool. I plugged the laptop into the big screen using it as a display and have huge color ‘images’ of the fish I am painting up there larger than life. I can toggle between screens for the 3-bar, four (4) bar or the lone shorebird and keep moving between each project. It is so cool.

Next I am going to figure out how to run the amazon prime + playlists from the phone (or computer) wi-fi thru those speakers. Talk about TOTAL INTEGRATION. Unlimited KILLER music & all new stuff ALL THE TIME. Right now, wicked jazzy blues. I am getting BLISTERS. Moving song files to playlists on the phone for a stellar commute to work at 6:00 am. Life is not good, it is GREAT.

Remember, when it comes to celebrating, when in doubt, just do ‘em ALL.

OK. Must dash. They are about to drop the puck. Must nuke the soup and get the sustenance & nutrition obligation out of the way so I can get back to work. Off tomorrow & with the cold weather, ALL PLANS outside these 52 walls is cancelled. Make a fire, feed the fire, stay near the fire.
