OK, so I missed a hit on the space bar wrt the entry title & corresponding date. It is early, I am charging forward and if there be a loose impediment, speed bump or topes in the way, I am going forward FULL SPEED ahead and not going to make small incidental repairs.

That’s right. I have aborted one (1) such project work this morning. A very cool wine label from an Italian chainti is failing & proving extremely difficult to remove in one piece so I can shamelessly reproduce and enlarge it for a weathered frame. Tabled for additional thought & planning before another attempt.

You should be getting the pitcher by now.

This is another ‘dual entry’ having missed breaker one-niner, a Prime number holiday and of course the ‘consolidated’ President’s holiday. Let us dwell on that one for a second or the rest of this report for some extended commentary.

When I was passing thru those most formative years, we actually got days off of school for both/each Lincoln’s AND Washington’s birthday. This was great as a kid but when you looked at it, the whole thing was a rouse anyway. Rarely in the same year did we get BOTH days off because one would fall on either a Saturday or a Sunday which naturally washed it out.

Let’s go with the point that now, today, the holiday has been sufficiently dumbed-down as so many other things have in our society. I see occasionally on the yahoo headlines a story (sponsored aka ad) that many to most ‘can’t pass this quiz …’ .

Perhaps this is one small reason why.

They know MLK has his own holiday but George Washington & Abraham Lincoln ‘disappear’, name removal & recognition, into ‘Presidents Day.

And on another note, I see ‘thousands’ to demonstrate this ‘new’ Not My President Day.

How UNAmerican is that ? Did you have any idea how many whiney babies and idiots there actually are actually running around loose in this country ? Hell, I THOUGHT (very bad sign) they were only driving cars.

The MAJORITY of people, We the People who just voted FOR Trump & changed the lack of leadership, sucked it up and put up with Barry O'whatever for EIGHT (8) LONG YEARS and watched by quietly as the country was sold down the river apologizing for this & that ?

Rhetorical question … do YOU think Harry Truman would have apologized for ANYTHING he did while in office ?
