Six Six Seventeen
First entry for June and this is it, it is HERE. My favorite of all the months and I know exactly. As is the habit & custom, I will share why and a BONUS, a PLUS and a VALUE-ADDED a What’s Happening here in the immediate vicinity of the cloud.
That nebulous place where things are always right & beautiful and never go wrong.
WHAT ABOUT NEVER SAYING NEVER ?
Connie from Constantinople. One question for you.
Why ?
I am way, WAY behind. I HAVE HEARD from Emma.
WHERE IN THE WORLD IS SHE ?
In the US. I can’t say much due to privacy issues and in respect for her personal privacy, but all I will say, should say and can say is that it is raining.
WHAT ? WHAT’S WITH THE CRYPTO-SPEAK?
That’s it. Crypto.
Last night I went over to visit S1 and we watched the Stanley Cup Finals. A better game to watch as the Preds mastered the Pens 4-1 with an EN before a full house of delirious fans that flowed well out onto 2nd Street tossing catfish like octopii.
And yes Connie I have been EXTREMELY busy. Mom would say that is a good thing as it keeps me out of trouble. At this rate I should go to Heaven in First Class as oppose to coach.
Currently fighting battles and keeping appointments for and in no particular order 2017 tax appraisal, I received the notification of the hearing 19 June at 9:30 for both properties. It sounds like a ‘jury duty’-type fiasco where all the cows are gathered in a pen or holding area and called in case by case. In other words, our government at work is taking a half-hour task and converting it into an all day affair.
Another is the insurance battle. The new roof is on, cash is flowing but a payment is yet to be made. I am waiting for the electronic account & transfer of funds to be confirmed, validated & approved as the account/process had gone dormant with no usage. Another bright ‘security feature’ that only holds up and deters the honest.
Between calls, appointments, research and tasking for both of these is nearly FULL TIME so let’s toss in a few other thingys por favor.
How about part time employment at the Home Depot ? The random variable schedule is another juggling act.
I managed to wangle ‘special privilege’ to open the blueberry patch in Bonham on an 'off' picking day. Walt is going with me for a morning in the country. Going to stop & see Jenkins (the Farmer not to be confused with Jenkins my personal physician & Doctor which is easily done). Hopefully he has some peaches ready. Picking peaches is way cool. So much quicker than the bluets.
Fifteen minutes the bag is filled and the peaches are all perfectly ripe, sweet & juicey. Jenkins doesn’t care if you take a bite out of one or eat it and toss it. This place at this moment in time, America truly is the land of Plenty. Plenty of peaches.
And speaking of peaches, Walt, his twin brother Wyatt and I are going to ride in the Peach Pedal bike race 8 July.
And speaking of bike rides & ‘races’, I have signed up for the 2017 HH100. One hundred M this year.
MILES ? ARE YOU CWAZY ?
No.
Simply aging up to the next bracket & testing the waters. That said, I am on a three (3) month, 100M training program. I took Walt yesterday. Twenty-five (25) miles. Rest today, 15 'hard' ride miles tomorrow, 25 Thursday and 40 Saturday. Saturday is going to be a little conflict as I have a show/sale at Tupps all day.
So that’s enough. As you can see, the Colonial accounts are not completed to posting. Those are ‘past due’.
I haven't even mentioned the plant, garden and yards projects. One ficus is pulled up, roots exposed and NEEDS support & transplanting TODAY. Like THIS MORNING BEFORE work. This is the huge rubber tree I tried & failed to air layer to propagate.
The colonoscopy payments are coming due. No image. I wish I had the digital from the last procedure. THAT would be a winner to share.
HOW DOES THAT TIE IN ?
Connie, leave me alone por favor.
I got to go.
Now you know Y.
