Todays image, Roger's Roof Ripped off.

This is what I woke up to on a DAY OFF !!

Pounding, banging, the pfft of nail guns and Spanish gibberish. Without running the risk of sounding too much more of a racist or profiler, it looks like a band of Mexicans but they could be just Hispanics. ...Let me see.

Only time for the briefest of entries as I am behind schedule.

I received a reply from Matthew Pearl and had to take care of a response to him. It took longer than expected.

Working later today so I would like to take advantage of the morning coolness and work out front out the house with a lingering landscape project while the banditos bang & swing on Roger’s roof.

An off day for bike training.

Paint on the golden plover and just stay on track with whatever projects I can.

Water the plants around the back deck. The tomato plants have generated a SURPLUS, more than I can eat so last night I perfected a panzanella salad for one that was to die for. Just awesome with the last of the cornish game hen. A Chilean merlot and I was headed upstairs to air conditioned comfort. COSTLY air conditioned comfort I might add.

I had to call Classic H & AC yesterday as I felt things were not properly functioning. Turns out I was W-R-O-N-G. To the tuned of nearly $80 but I learned some valuable information that I must confirm & verify from a second source. AC repair people have vested interests don’t you know ? The charge for the visit I get but the sting smarts for what should or could have been a ‘courtesy call’ or follow-up.

Such is life.
