A Saturday now & already. Once again squeezed for time so only the briefest of dispatches so no image & lucky if I get this one done & posted up.

First September report and I am thinking of a next step abbreviating the months to single letters and two (2 or dos) when applicable. But stay tuned as there are other burning issues flaring on high.

LIKE WHAT OR SUCH AS … POR FAVOR ?

The local media has conspired a fuel shortage and sent locals into a panic mode feeding frenzy buying gasoline. Long lines, very high prices with some stations even out of fuel.

I went to buy a watermelon, number five (5) for the summer & most likely the last of the season and the guy was telling me he actually took his boat down to Houston and did three (3) days of boat rescues.

FB reported from ground zero a local news story of the 'cagun navy' on telly. Showed the good old boys from La doing boat rescues taking shots of vodka. Perhaps it was just drinking water in a vodka bottle and they were using it as a canteen. Ya think ?

As usual I am extremely busy. The tenants moved out suddenly and two (2) months early at the rental property so working to get new one(s) in. Enlisted a broker to assist but the meter is running and I continue to bleed green.

Working the odd & staggered hours at the orange box this Labor Day w/e. Yes, it s*cks.

Still trying to find a better job and keep from turning on my last and final pension. The interview last week went well so I am remaining hopeful this will be the ‘big one’.

I have a couple of hours before I must report and a few more items to check off the list so so long for now.

Send those checks here and I will funnel them to the victims of Harvey.
